RUBIO: I respect people who disagree with me on certain things, but that means they have to respect me too. Just because I believe states should have the right to define marriage in a traditional way does not make me a bigot. Just because we believe that life, all human life, all life, all human life is worth of protection in every stage of its development doesn’t make you a chauvinist. In fact, the people who are actually close minded in American politics are people who love to preach about the certainty of science in regard to our climate, but ignore the absolute fact that life begins at conception.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. How come liberals never admit that they’re liberal? They’ve now come up with a new word called ‘progressive,’ which I thought was an insurance company but apparently it’s a label. Unlike any other leader in modern American history, we are led today by a president that has decided to pit Americans against each other. People have a right to be a Democrat. People have a right to be wrong. I know they’re the same thing.
http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/03/14/poor-poor-marco-rubio-people-are-always-picking-on-him-because-he-hates-gay-people-video/ the source is shit but it's quotes from a youtube video in the source and you can google the any other quotes you want to challenge
oh dear.
Marco "I run using my race" Rubio. The mans a huge fucking hypocrite lol. I remember that he was giving a speech speaking out against government in healthcare, while simultaneously ordered government resources to chopper his daughter to a hospital.
"what? Progressive is an actual word? i thought it was just an insurance company!"
I thought Republicans were the ones being pit against each other.
Polo Rubio
They’ve now come up with a new word called ‘progressive,’ which I thought was an insurance company but apparently it’s a label.
lol progressive has been around since teddy roosevelt what are you talking about [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] back when it used to be its own party, you know [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] which was actually an offshoot of the republican party soooo...
Gotta start that election campaign trail early.
I'm sad. I can't ever take this guy seriously, cause every time I hear his name I just think of him smacking his lips.
Not every position is of equally substantiated, which is why his entire argument falls flat on its face. The position of 'questioning the validity of climate change science' is not equal to the position of 'raising progressive tax rates', and so on. Here's an article that argues against this idea of all positions being of equal value quite well, so have a read of that instead: http://lesswrong.com/lw/mm/the_fallacy_of_gray/ [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] It has more more to do with scientific matters, but it applies to an extent here as well.
