What's the context? Is he mad at someone? [editline]edit[/editline]
He broke his NDA by revealing that he owns a switch, hence why he's says hes going to get sued.
I know but why though? The video only shows us him doing it. Probably drunk or something
What's the context? Is he mad at someone?
he looks drunk as shit
-snoop-
It's most likely fake or a dummy model. How would someone like him have one months before we get more official news on it? On top of that the buttons look pretty off (the face buttons and home button to be specific), plus in everything he's shown it in it's off. I'm in the fake camp until he turns it on and shows it booting up.
I'm in the fake camp until he turns it on and shows it booting up.
Except if it IS the real deal, Nintendo will be knocking at his door tomorrow morning and we'll never see it again.

i wonder if you managed to obtain one of these through whatever means what it would go for on ebay.

Ah yeah, you can see the 3d print lines on the buttons.
Am I supposed to know who this is?
Ah yeah, you can see the 3d print lines on the buttons.
And the tumbsticks.
Remember that nintendo early kits and devkits look significantly different than consumer models, but chances are it's not real.
Remember that nintendo early kits and devkits look significantly different than consumer models, but chances are it's not real.
Usually their dev kits are well built or actually look somewhat like the final product in the Wii U's case. This thing looks like a knockoff from the buttons alone.
Usually their dev kits are well built or actually look somewhat like the final product in the Wii U's case. The modern CAT-DEV kits are a huge brown box with a white and green gamepad that may or may not even have text on the buttons depending on how nintendo are feeling when they make your kit. edit: fittingly im free to talk about this since the sonic boom devs leaked it ages ago bigass brown box is the actual dev kit green wiiu is the cafe dev kit, which is meant for small indie teams that only want to make 2d games with nintendos HTML5 engine

So it's most likely a prop/dummy console if anything. Your post really doesn't do much to counter what I'm saying. The leaked kits were well built but still used components that were near the final product, and the indie kits looks like the final product.

How long ago were you dealing with CAT units? [editline]14th November 2016[/editline] Yeah I'm thinking it's a poorly made dummy/prop model, that dock would be a bit tricky to fake. The box is a red flag though considering how Nintendo like to be emulate Apple when it comes to their products. They wouldn't label a box like that before release, especially for a prop model.
Depends. How long ago were you dealing with CAT units?
Saying that is how I get angry NoA lawyers on me, just know that it was over a year ago. If you have access to the indie backend forums just search for people complain about how they are angry they paid for the kit and it didnt have text on the buttons, you'l see quite a few results. I'm firmly on the side that this switch is fake, Just wanted to make sure people knew that early kits from ninty are generally terrible and late kits can look wildly different. hell, if anyone remembers the chunky gamepad from early legitimate leaks of the wiiu [t]https://www.videogameauctions.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Nintendo-Wii-U-Development-Kit-CAT-DEV-Version-2-DRC-DK1-Collectible-Very-Rare.jpg[/t]
I don't have access to any forums like that anymore. I left that contracting company for a better one and bounce around from company to company doing QA stuff. I was at Xbox for the first have of this year and now I'm elsewhere. Also, I've seen a box similar to that one but never saw a controller like that. That must have been stupid early for the Wii U. edit: oh it says 2011 on the kit itself, lmao.

Couldn't understand a word form his mouth tbh.

Can't wait to see early legitimate switch models get leaked in future though.

His girlfriend works at a gamestop. It could easily be a display model. Then again, he got high off his ass on stream by drinking a whole bottle of something he said thats stronger than bombay, which he gets fucked up by on his streams. So if this was real, I wouldnt put it past him to do something stupid like this.
They don't even have display models yet for GameStop.
There'd be a hell of a lot more "leaks" like this if they did. The only reason Erika could even feasibly have one is through some promotion he got by being a pro Smash player, but like pointed out above it's probably fake.
