Beanie Babies are the original cryptocurrency
Beanie Babies are the original cryptocurrency
at least you could physically hold beanie babies
at least you could physically hold beanie babies
You can physically hold your private key, if you want :v:
at least you could physically hold beanie babies
At least beanie babies didn’t make the price of sewing machines skyrocket because of motherfuckers mass buying them to make beanie babies
I knew Beanie Babies were everywhere when I was a kid, I must've had about a hundred of them, but I never knew that the craze got to be this bad. I just liked them because they were soft and I couldn't have real pets.
My mother still has a huge box of Peace Bears somewhere in her house. She has a bunch of special edition ones too; like the Millennium and Princess ones. I remember having a few when I was a kid, never on her level though.
It's really sad to hear that Beanie Babies, who were made by a man with a broken childhood that undoubtedly fueled his obsession for lovable huggable Plushies, resulted in parents fighting over money when their children, enrolled in a program for children from broken families, were allowed to bring their Plushies home. All Ty wanted to do was bring some love and comfort to children who needed it, like he did but never had. And instead it caused such violence and grief to the lives of the very kids who he wanted to help most. That's just really depressing. :frown:
the cartoon character that guy uses to represent himself makes me weirdly uncomfortable

I think I have five somewhere that are worth ~$15, but no way am I giving them away unless I really need to. They're just so soft and cuddly, how could you give them away? It's the enormous chin I swear! [T]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6_3SjHK-m2c/UFAwKOTkuLI/AAAAAAAAHb4/EBY8veuHpH8/s1600/genieglobe.jpg[/T]
I have two full boxes of Beanie Babies in the trunk of my car. I collected them from thrift stores after the whole fad died down and people sold them off en-masse.
