The two went into a hallway, where Murphy allegedly grabbed Weinstock by the collar and started hitting him, according to the public defender's office. Although off camera, the two can still be heard yelling at each other, with one of them saying, "You want to (expletive) with me?" A Brevard County sheriff’s deputy stopped the fight. The participants refused to press charges and no arrests were made. The video also shows the judge being applauded as he returned to the courtroom. Local 6 legal analyst Luis Calderon said both men could face disciplinary action for what happened in court, simply because of the attention the case is getting. Calderon said worst cast scenarios for both men could result in them losing their jobs and possibly being disbarred.
This should be the system for all cases imo
and before anyone asks, in most places there is a clause in the books that if two people both consent to a fight, then it is 100% legal until one says stop
This should be the system for all cases imo
Hulk Hogan is suddenly the new Johnnie Cochran
That was fucking gold. Just the whole scene of these people sitting around in court listening to this punch on and then, "You WANNA FUCK WITH ME?" *SMACK* "DO YOU?" *CRASH* That was utterly bizarre.
You want to (expletive) with me?
Really?
wish there was a camera in the room the fight was held in sounds like it wouldve been parody gold
good thing nobody was raped
And this is the reason why you shouldn't press a judge's berserk button.
TRIAL BY COMBAT. Loser gets [del]thrown off the Eyrie[/del] charged regardless of position.
This is comedy gold, I just get more from this every time I watch it. I love the defendant, accused of 2 counts of assault standing there silently while his fucking public defender and the judge just slug it on in the hallway. Does anyone else feel like the judge sounds a lot like Brent Spiner or am I imagining that?
Great behavior for public officials.
I hear in Florida they's a-getting a telegram line real soon!
good thing nobody was raped
8/10 for effort 3/10 for execution
good thing nobody was raped
Jokes dead already, brilliant Hopefully it isn't posted in every thread now ..
good thing nobody was raped
We're burning this joke out in record time
and before anyone asks, in most places there is a clause in the books that if two people both consent to a fight, then it is 100% legal until one says stop
It should still be illegal. You don't expect a fucking judge to have a fight with a lawyer at work. They should both be sacked for this.
Why do I live in this state. I just want to move until Florida news settles.
I feel bad for the defendant. "How'd the trial go?" "My attorney tried to punch the judge."
This is in my county... fuck yea
Sit down or I will find you in contempt. Your punishment: A GOOD FLOGGING.
Why do I live in this state. I just want to move until Florida news settles.
Florida news will never settle.

The legal system confuses me, why would a judge want a lawyer to waive his client's right to a speedy trial?
good thing nobody was raped
Good thing I'm not a moderator anymore, or you'd be gone.
Why do I live in this state. I just want to move until Florida news settles.
I mean, maybe i'm biased because I live in Central Florida which seems to honestly be a lot more tame compared to other parts of Florida, but I feel like all states are this weird and fucked up, but it's become a "thing" to report on Florida to make it seem more "wacky" nah who am i kidding, my state is an insane shithole, goddammit Florida :v:
The legal system confuses me, why would a judge want a lawyer to waive his client's right to a speedy trial?
It's probably one of those things you technically have the right for but isn't logistically feasible to have. That's my only guess.
