God i love Bruce Timms art.
They should totally give him another show.
That was pretty cool. I thought the ears were a bit long and it was kind of strange that he fired tear gas but no one even reacted to it further than a couple of coughs.
Did Batman just let someone die?
Did Batman just let someone die?
Yeah but who cares he still kicked ass and that's all that matters
Did Batman just let someone die?
I think Batman's thing is he won't kill people, but he can choose not to save them. (Only if he can't though.)
this was kinda stupid, and just fyi I used to watch the animated series (edit: and batman beyond).
That was awesomely pulp.
I always thought it would be good to have DC superheroes back in the style of pulp magazines and Golden Age-esque tone and look. Plus it's great seeing Timm animating something with Batman again.
SOLOMON GRUNDY BORN ON A MONDAY Fuck yes.
They should totally give him another show.
I'm pretty sure he worked on GL:TAS, but that was canceled so... [editline]11th April 2014[/editline] According to this interview there is also a Batman Beyond short in the works http://www.craveonline.com/comics/previews/672285-exclusive-video-bruce-timm-on-his-return-to-batman
Timm also seems to indicate that there’s a “Batman Beyond” short that was also created for the Batman 75th Anniversary celebration.

I think Batman's thing is he won't kill people, but he can choose not to save them. (Only if he can't though.)
This. When Villains doom themselves he sometimes chooses to let them die. Most of them justs come back / get resurected though, it's often left ambigous if he really did die. Here for example, I think it's Dr. Strange, fell down a cliff into the fog.
I liked the Superman Anniversary he worked on.

Personally, I was expecting the plane to swoop down and catch Doctor Strange after he fell.
He can choose not to save people but only people he can't save? How is that a choice? [editline]11th April 2014[/editline]
well what if he is in a position where it is possible to save this guy, but he sacrifices his life in doing so, batman would probably choose not to save him even if he is capable. He "cant" save these kinds of people cause it endangers his own life.
You guys are forgetting this is an Homage to Batman 1939. I'm playing and re-playing the Arkham games so this is quite welcome. Funny thing about the no kill rule and the Arkham games. In City when Batman knocks out thugs it makes a powerful noise but not to a point you'd think he just killed the man. In Origins you can interrogate criminals by holding them to the ground, foot on neck. Once they spill their information you bring your knee to their head, "knocking them out". I used "" because a clear spine-crushing sound plays with it.
This video made me realize how much I missed BTAS
