The president said he was “very frustrated” that he could not be involved with those agencies, and said it was “very discouraging to me” that they were not “going after Hillary Clinton.” “Hopefully they are doing something and at some point, maybe we are going to all have it out,” Trump said Thursday on “The Larry O'Connor Show.”
This is the drowning man pulling everyone around him down to keep his face above water.
Trump you drooling idiot, nobody cares about Hillary, and anyone in any justice organization will already have an investigation going. How about you worry about the country more you unbelievably daft nitwit. Fuck you, you won the election. get over it already. You don't even run everything in the country. Just because you're the president doesn't make you in control of everything. This shit is so dishonest. How could you even know what they're doing? What if they're already doing one and you're fucking everything up by publically shitting on them? What if they already did it and found nothing?
Trust me, I'm not saying Clinton is without faults or not worthy of being investigated, but the issue here is that Donny wants the investigators busy looking anywhere that isn't at him.
More importantly, he actually seems to be shocked that as President, the JD and FBI aren't supposed to operate like his own private Army.
I see he needs another distraction. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing both trump and Hillary behind bars.
You... would be surprised how easily the die-hard Republican base eats this stuff up. My stepmother is one of said people, and has not stopped ranting about how it’s a waste of time to investigate the very obvious issue of Russian interference into the oldest institution of our country; she won’t stop yelling about how they need to investigate Clinton. FOX News is quite literally a propaganda machine, and they do a great job of keeping their base distracted from real issues. I don’t know man, I’ve lived through 5 elections, I’ve never seen politics like this, let alone widespread disinformation. I’ve a bad feeling we aren’t going to recover from this for many, many years.
The President of the United States openly admits that he would be a dictator if he could
When the audience revived the chant in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Friday night — more than one month after Trump won the election — the president-elect said, "That plays great before the election — now we don't care, right?"
Business Insider, Dec 2016
This is all deflection. They're misinformation and deflection and discrediting Mueller campaigns are gonna grow everyday the noose tightens. Don't fall for it.
"Sorry sir we've got no results for anyone last name Hilary, first name Crooked."
Crooked? More like irrelevant. Invoking the Clinton name in 2017 should result in public flogging.
I see he needs another distraction. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing both trump and Hillary behind bars.
My hope always was that Clinton and Trump, due to their past friendships, would be implicated in the exact same scandal and would end up both destroyed. Though it's clear that Clinton is a hell of a lot better than Trump, that doesn't mean much. American politics is a joke, from the political systems to the media to well, everything.
Two points: 1) Obviously, this is all just deflection and misdirection. Trump, the GOP, and the GOP's propaganda arms at Fox News, Breitbart, Infowars, etc are trying to point their people towards Clinton to distract from the fact this administration is fuckin' imploding right now. Three indictments, several more likely to come, multiple people caught perjuring, resignations of top officials, etc, etc. Mueller is tightening the noose, and Trump is desperate for people to look the other way. As he said himself, following the conclusion of the campaign, Hillary was always just a campaign device. "That plays well in the election, but now we don't care anymore, right?" 2) If it had been revealed that the President of the United States was secretly pressuring the Department of Justice to launch investigations into his political rivals, despite no evidence of wrongdoing, it would be a scandal on tier with Watergate. I guess doing it publicly is okay, though?
remember when "we don't care anymore"? [editline]3rd November 2017[/editline]
????????
clearly the dumbass though that, now that he had won, there was no need to keep pushing for that shit but now that his shit is imploding he has to bring it back up again
In his Thursday radio interview, Trump said, “You know, the saddest thing is, because I am the president of the United States I am not supposed to be involved with the Justice Department. I'm not supposed to be involved with the FBI. I'm not supposed to be doing the kind of things I would love to be doing and I am very frustrated by it.”

Trump added on the radio show: “I look at what's happening with the Justice Department, why aren't they going after Hillary Clinton with her emails and with her dossier, and the kind of money . . . I don't know, is it possible that they paid $12.4 million for the dossier . . . which is total phony, fake, fraud and how is it used? It's very discouraging to me. I'll be honest.”
He's publicly whining about not being able to obstruct the investigative efforts of independent law enforcement agencies.

Just let that one simmer for a moment.

If this cabinet finally eats the dirt, would it be the shortest presidency in the history of the United States? I still bet it's going down in the history books as something though, even if it isn't for that.

He's not in the same category as Hitler etc. since he isn't some massive war criminal (yet). He's just a massive jerk, and when you combine that with the fact that he's so massively well-known around the world for being a jerk at a point when the human population is larger than ever, maybe that will be his legacy.
He's publicly whining about not being able to obstruct the investigative efforts of independent law enforcement agencies.
I've had a long running theory that trump decided to run based on an ideal childish perception of having the entire US army and intelligence services at your disposal and the things he could do with it I don't think he quite understood that as President, you are still an employee to the system around you and things still need to be approved by many layers of checks and balances you can really see this mindset come out when he's frustrated, see: "DO SOMETHING!"
????????
The funnier part about this to me is the amount of people at his rally that cheered after he said "but now, nah, we don't care".
