Man forced to run up and down hallway naked after being beaten by deputies
Juan Pablo Reyes was punched by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies over and over again in the ribs, mouth and eyes, breaking his eye socket and leaving his body badly bruised. After falling to the ground, the deputies continued to kick Reyes, an inmate at the Los Angeles County Jail, with their steel-toed boots, ignoring his cries.
And the deputies didn't stop there.
They ordered Reyes to strip and forced him to walk naked up and down the hallway of a housing module, in full view of other inmates. One deputy yelled, "Gay boy walking." Reyes began to cry, but the deputies just looked on and laughed. They then put him in a cell where he was beaten and sexually assaulted by other inmates. He desperately pled for help and to be removed from the cell, but to no avail.
In another incident, an inmate who discovered after deputies had searched all the cells in his row that some of his property was missing was savagely beaten after asking to speak to a sergeant. Deputies beat this inmate so violently he suffered a fractured jaw and required eye surgery and stitches in his ear. A deputy shoved him hard against a wall, slapped his ear, punched his face several times and then threw him to the ground. While on the ground, the inmate was kicked by the deputy roughly 10 times in his face, jaw and back of his head, causing a large pool of his blood to form on the floor. The inmate described the beating as being more painful than being hit by a car.
yes
Ouch, how babaric
Unfortunately the officers will probably get a week suspension at worst.
Too many cops are corrupted by power.

The officers will most likely get a slap on the wrist, and the department will cover it up.
Give them death penalty. Shoot to kill.
At least he survived
As if that means much after what happened.
"The victim was raped and tortured for several days."
"At least he survived."

Gee, look past he was beaten by cops and given a broken eye socket, lets look at how he was raped and tortured by other inmates instead. You should really stop posting

I've heard quite a bit that behavior such as this is more likely with prison guards, I guess it's all that time around inmates.
Stop with that bad apple bullshit
Seriously every time I read the words 'Bad apple' I want to gouge my eyes out.
hooray for america number 1 country in police brutality
I wonder if there is an unmentioned part to this story, but its from the ACLU and they're generally good... So the blood of the corrupt stains all that is good.
At least he survived

hooray for america number 1 country in police brutality
Russia, China, Israel, and all those other lovely countries obviously have much better police than America.
hooray for america number 1 country in police brutality

hooray for america number 1 country in police brutality
Hooray for America, number one country in under publicized police heroism.
How did these people get into such a high power job in the first place?
anyway this shit has to stop
Government needs to crack down a lot harder on officers of the law abusing their own power.
Dammit, I'm getting tired of these assholes.
We really need to enforce better requirements to become a cop/guard/deputy.
I don't actually want to visit the US at all anymore. I don't want any of that shit happen to me. Fuck that country to hell.
