I have a weird deja vu feeling this was posted here before but maybe it wasn't.

Fuck I am usually good with the media tags why you doing this [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] 1 sec [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] fixed
I don't think I could ever do that. These types of stories make it extremely hard for me to pick a side in the gun law debates.
this guy is how I imagine people back in the wild west used to be but I feel bad that these multiple experiences made him secluded and on-guard all the time seriously this guy almost died too many times to lead a not paranoid life
Damn that's one smart shop keeper. Not only did he buy a weapon for self-defense, but he advanced himself by going to the gym to stay in shape and practiced using his guns.
Damn. Each time they said there was another incident, my incredulity increased. Good example of why being smart with guns is a good thing. Poor guy though, seems to have reduced his life to paranoia.
I don't think I could ever do that. When someone points a gun at you, you have every right to defend yourself, especially if you're in your home or business.
Motherfucker looks like he'd be a badass of the Old West :v:
I hate people who are willing to kill in order to steal from someone. In my opinion, that is truly the lowest you can go.
While the guys in the last incident clearly meant to kill the store owner from the beginning, the others probably didn't plan on killing anyone. They probably figured that no one would actually try to resist with a gun pointed at them.

I remember reading an article about an Asian man who was traveling abroad got mugged for 40$ or something and his mugger shot him dead, even though the man did not resist and just wanted to be spared.
But you'd think that if they intended to shoot him from the start, they wouldn't bother threatening him, they'd just whip the gun out and shoot him.
Then how would they find the money or watches? They're not gonna loiter around and look for it.
But you'd think that if they intended to shoot him from the start, they wouldn't bother threatening him, they'd just whip the gun out and shoot him.
Also keep in mind that some people are just crazy.
For some reason I feel like this could make an excellent concept for an action film if done properly.
For some reason I feel like this could make an excellent concept for an action film if done properly.
I'm pretty sure that there's atleast one movie from the 80's with similiar plot to this.
But you'd think that if they intended to shoot him from the start, they wouldn't bother threatening him, they'd just whip the gun out and shoot him.
The worst thing you can do in a situation like that is to assume anything. You don't hold the cards, so you don't know how the game is going to be played out.
The worst thing you can do in a situation like that is to assume anything. You don't hold the cards, so you don't know how the game is going to be played out.
I know, and I agree. When your life is at stake, it's gambling that the guy pointing a gun at you isn't going to kill you when you have the means to defend yourself isn't the best decision. I wasn't trying to say that he was wrong for shooting the robbers.
But you'd think that if they intended to shoot him from the start, they wouldn't bother threatening him, they'd just whip the gun out and shoot him.
When someone is pointing a gun or a knife at you, it's not their intent you're worried about, but their capabilities. The same goes for self defense, when someone is pointing a gun or knife at you, you assume the absolute worst and you act accordingly.
What a boss.
I'm very sorry but it's just too.. typical that all the robbers were dark skinned.
It must have been one hell of a rough neighborhood he had been running his business in with so many armed robberies. it really says a lot about the level of violent crime in some states back then (and perhaps still do).
You'd think that since all the robbers that went up against him have lost, others would think "Hmm... Maybe this is not a good idea to try and rob this store."
I'm pretty sure that there's atleast one movie from the 80's with similiar plot to this.
Death wish with Charles Bronson. Best movies ever!
Guy could be Owen Wilsons father
Then how would they find the money or watches? They're not gonna loiter around and look for it.
Everyone's different and you can't know what anyone is going to or willing to do. You can, however, not let the situation be dictated by the scum of the earth, but rather by you, ultimately, if you're armed as well
