I found the movie pretty good actually, though I watched it in 03 or 04 and don't remember much.

Armageddon 2: The asteroid hits earth in the first 5 minutes and the next two hours are just explosion shots and hot girls running away futilely in slow-mo. Also cameos by Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck

Now all he has to do is apologise for every other abomination of a film he's made.... ... you know, pretty much every film in the past five years.

Yeah, every time I'm doing something IRL with a group and there's something like an icebreaker questionnaire and people say their name and favorite movies, when someone says Pearl Harbor I just roll my eyes.

Huh... I actually liked that movie. Is it his crazy explosion world that makes it seem so bad he's apologizing now?

You see, he wanted the asteroid to be completely destroyed, vaporized but in the short time he was given he had to settle for it just breaking into 2 pieces.

he's only apologizing because it was the least successful of his films in cost to box office ratio if I'm not mistaken.

I thought, and still think, it was awesome.
