Short from Henry and pulled by Smith! It's through the gap at square leg! It runs away for four! Australia are world champions again, for a fifth time in cricket's history! The smiles on Watson and Smith's faces are as wide as the pitch, as the crowd erupts in unison at the MCG! Pats on the back for Watto and the retiring Michael Clarke, whose 74 was as fitting a send-off as you could hope for. The players, having run onto the pitch to celebrate with the victorious batsmen, are now lining up as coach Darren Lehmann gets a round of hugs, having transformed this side since their struggles only two years ago. For New Zealand, it's an abject end to a stunning tournament for them, where they made it to the final undefeated and thrilling the world with an exceptional brand of cricket. Australia has gone from strength to strength since that one-wicket loss to the Black Caps in the pool stages, and peaked at the right time to reclaim the trophy from India.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-03-29/cricket-world-cup-final3a-australia-v-new-zealand-live-blog/6356728
Suck it, New Zealand.
Seven wickets. Wow.

The Australian team can do no wrong at the moment but really I wish the run chase had been more interesting.
Suckit :v:
And its comical repeat with Glenn McGrath and NZ umpire Billy Bowden
The Australian team can do no wrong at the moment but really I wish the run chase had been more interesting.
Australia was certainly on point tonight. Most of the best games have come from either really good bowling from both sides or an amazing run chase that grinds down to the last few overs at the death.
what in the hell is a wicket? :v:
what in the hell is a wicket? :v:
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/17/Wicket.jpg[/t] The batsman defends this while batting. As far as winning by x wickets goes, the number of wickets, or outs, that the team batting second has in hand when it passes the other team's score. Winning by 10 wickets, or no batsmen getting out, is an overwhelming victory. Winning by one is a narrow squeak.
I can't see us winning the Ashes
SEVEN WHOLE WICKETS? Simply amazing. Amazing!
