This is fucking appalling. The people who deliberately steal content should be ashamed
Everytime I log into Facebook my news feed is filled with stolen content, video and images. The worst offenders are the ones that compress the shit out of images and add stupid captions on videos.
Bet you wont see this video with 81 million views on facebook. I'm gonna share it.
This is what I hate most about facebook right now, as well as parasitic clickbait sites. When I go on facebook I have to scroll through about 5-6 items before I find something that one of my friends has actually posted.

There was one dedicated to "Zack Galifinakis memes" that always had like three or four logos on top that look so awful.
the current trend of taking a video and adding giant text-laden borders is fucking awful, it's all over my feed and just makes it feel even seedier (pics)
Let's not forget the type of uploader who put a short video of themselves at the end of the video where they react to the video before. It could be a 3 minute video and they'd just put a "omg this was awesome, like me for more!" at the end and call it a day.

I saw the linked video on my Facebook and the only difference was a caption saying "[sp]HOW TO KNOW IF HE THE DADDY[/SP]"

I fucking love the animation in their videos.

My little DK video was reuploaded by various sites on Facebook. My video has 60k views and im happy with that but then i see on Facebook has a mil or couple hundred thousand.
Yeah, just a few weeks ago someone from my class was watching a "Primitive technology" video on Facebook - sped up 10 times. I told them about the channel themselves, but after 2 minutes of watching on his channel they went back to watching on Facebook (presumably because of the fast forward). Either way, it kinda hurt me to know he's not getting any recognition at all for a video he probably spent a long time making. Those faceless facebook accounts are just aggregating millions of views through this shit, and it makes me pretty mad to be honest.
Why would you watch a sped up version over the normal speed version? It's way better, your friend is a total scrub.

You'd think someone with over 750,000 YT subscribers would be more mindful about just straight up stealing content, but I guess not. Unfortunately, he wasn't dumb enough to upload it to YT as his own, as FB does fuck all to help with this sort of thing.
Why would you watch a sped up version over the normal speed version? Also many people don't really want to devote any time to these sort of things beyond the "huh cool" - I know it's a cliche at this point, but people want entertainment now, and they don't really want to wait for the pay off. Personally I definitely prefer the long versions, but not all people are the same I guess.

The biggest offender is SoFloAntonio and tbh who would be sad if he just stopped existing
Just curious but do people that run pages get payed with ad revenue?
I wonder how long it's going to take for Google to straight up just fucking sue Facebook. It's been a long time coming.
The biggest offender is SoFloAntonio and tbh who would be sad if he just stopped existing
On my feed the other day, I saw one of those heartfelt Asian life insurance ads but it was posted by SoFloAntonio. He plastered the fucking thing with those shitty unsentimental insincere facetious sad emojis. So not only did he just upload something that wasn't his for views, he completely ruined the value of the video with "THIS IS SO SAD OMG BOOHOO SEE HOW SAD I AM???" Ass.
Immediately thought of Lemon Demon
I remember when that exact video they are talking appeared in my newsfeed. Someone said that everyone should watch the original instead and linked the original video. People said that they prefered the original because "muh subtitles" and "who cares to learn english" Mediocre people (imo)
People who steal content wholesale and put it on FB deserve to be stabbed in the liver.
People like SoFloAntonio need some sort of legal backlash. I hate seeing stolen content on Facebook. Oddly enough, before this video was made I always wondered why the shit never disappears. It makes sense that it wouldn't if facebook is profiting off of it. That's so fucked up. Hopefully some sort of lawsuit can come of this because it isn't fair to the creator whatsoever. I guess someone could argue it gives exposure but face it, most people on facebook just watch something then move on. I've seen the same video on my feed before as well but from different uploaders, it's really sad.

[editline]10th November 2015[/editline]
The most annoying thing about that is that people are commenting on the posts saying 'this video was stolen' with 'get over it' or 'no one cares'.
I wouldn't expect anything more than that from people on FB. Doubt they'd feel the same way if it was their video. At least in my case, the most frustrating thing about it was that there was literally nothing I could do. No way in hell he'd take it down if I sent him a message asking him to, like Facebook suggests, and I'm not sure I'd be able to file a DMCA complaint, as I don't own any of the content in the video, even though it was created from my own gameplay, with permission from TTI/RG (built-in editor with direct YT upload) . And since I can't monetize it anyway because of the music, all I'm really losing out on are views (and maybe a small handful of subscribers), and it's not really worth my time to look into or do anything about it, especially so long after the fact. Moral of the story: watermark your videos obnoxiously.

He's stolen and re-uploaded so many videos and probably made thousands of dollars off of it at some point. He's a pure and simple thief. (GONE SEXUAAAAAAAAAL)
As much as I agree with this video, it's kind of worrying to see Kzergisagetafuck doing more controversial/political stuff. I like my political shit fine but it doesn't seem to be these guys's style.
lmao its facebook, reposters will just crop the video anyway unless your watermark is right in the center
Did I not say "obnoxiously"? :v:
