Whats as good as Doom music?
Answer: Doom music put in a medley with kick ass distortion.
Knee-deep in DooM is a bonus track in the album "Grace upon the Realm" by Epiclore.

Oh, god. So nostalgic.
I definitely think DooM made most of my music taste that I have today.
Could you imagine a 2.5 years old listening to music like this?
Why the fuck are Doom riffs so distinctive? They're also awesome.
The only metal I'll listen to.
This is pretty damn good
I love the music in DOOM and DOOM II on its own, but this is pretty awesome.
DOOM music is awesome because a lot of it was ripped directly from famous Metal songs, E1M1 being Metallica - No Remorse.

No Remorse and E1M1 actually use a different string of notes for the "core riff." I know how to play both the songs on the guitar and I can tell you right away they are very different. You ARE correct, however, on how a lot of it was ripped off from famous metal songs. Off the top of my head I know they cut out a riff from the Pantera track "Rise," though I can't tell you which Doom track it is.

Actually, after watching the entire video and reading the description, it would seem that E1M4 was based off of the Pantera track.
