Hey you, 90's cartoon fan! Do you love slapstick humor mixed with talking animals that doesn't resemble furries? If you do, then you'll love this show.

It's (obviously) a spinoff of those crazy Penguins from the Madagascar movies who are trying to save their zoo habitat from numerous animals including King Julian, sewer rats, and giant Mort. Besides the comedy, the penguin characters are a stereotypical squad from the tough leader to the wimpy rookie.
Also, there are some voice actors that had worked on previous popular franchises like the person who does the voices for Johnny Bravo voices the Smart Penguin in the show and the Scottish Guy from the Call of Duty 2 British Campaign voices the Wimp Rookie Penguin.

This is personally my favorite [i]modern[/i] cartoon apart from Flapjack (because Flapjack episodes looked fucked up). It's a good show, but I would like to know your guy's thoughts on this show (because you always like to talk about how good things are [i]back in the day[/i]).
I think it's OK, I watch it when it's on.

I hate this show and dislike Flapjack.
I also disliked Madagascar. But these are just my opinions.
It looks good I wouldn't sit down and watch it though I'd rather watch something else. I never really watch kids shows

This. The first Madagascar movie was great, now, like always, they milk it for all it's worth and run it into the ground. Same with the Barnyard too.

Flapjack is tolerable, but at least better than the majority of the shit they try to feed into the kids growing up in 2000's. Madagascar is filled with poorly done slap-stick, and crude, poorly thought out humor. But at least it's animated, unlike 90% of Nickelodeon.
Although, I'd really prefer that they'd go back to animating the traditional way, rather than using 3D renders and shit like that.

I absolutely love Flapjack and Chowder. They're the only shows keeping keeping the "Cartoon" part of Cartoon Network from turning into "Generic shows that are on other stations, but this time starring kids!". Everything else that resembles a cartoon is made by the same Canadian animation company, with the same VAs, in the same storylines over and over again.
On the topic of the Penguins show, it's hit and miss for me. Some episodes are pretty good, some episodes(most featuring the otter) I cannot stand. Most of the episodes about Julien are pretty good.
