How to unfreeze your computer w/o shutting it off!

Nothing really big, but it will save you a few minutes of boot time if your computer ever freezes. It's as simple as:
1. Open the task manager (if it won't open, this won't help you, sorry :( )
2. Go to the "Processes" tab
3. "End Process" on explorer.exe (yes, you heard me) and accept any prompts that pop up. After doing this, your desktop will go blank, but the background will still be there.
4. Switch to the "Applications" tab
5. Click on "New Task..." and enter explorer.exe into the box
6. Click OK. The desktop should reappear with no after effects.
I figured this out last night. Just thought I'd share it.

Wow, it worked! Thanks for the help, bro.
You get a clock for being 14 years late.
Meh, if your computer is frozen, it is frozen and you can't do anything.

No, you thaw it.
Wow I didn't know. Thanks I'll keep that in mind.
Just take it out of the fridge, problem solved.

Freezer
Can I delete explorer.exe, I think it's a virus.
No, take it out of the freezer but put it in the fridge. If you take it from the freezer and leave it out in room temperature, it'll grow bacteria.

Or pour some hot water on it.
Or you can just restart it.
FYI: This has been featured on Shoutpunch.

You realize that there is no win32 and that your joke skills need work.

Works every time for me.
if you want to keep your computer from freezing, you really should install red LED's
i don't recommend them for long term use though, red LED's can raise your computer's overall temperature to dangerous levels. Install some blue LED's as well, and turn them on if your computer gets too hot.
I do this all the time.
