Using iCall.com, you can call someone VIA THE WEB for 3 minutes at a time, or via your desktop for 5 minutes at a time. That's for free.
If you pay the 2 cents per minute(in the USA), you can call unlimited. FUCKING TWO CENTS PER MINUTE.
SHIT IS CASH.
YOU WILL NOT SPEND MUCH SHIT.

Looks awesome, DLing now.
What's the catch?
They'll probably send you a 100$ bill afterwards or so.
OMG who can i call i live in uk
seems useful, i might use this sometime.
It's great on paper, but half the time the main server is down, and the program crashes a lot. The damn thing doesn't work.
EDIT:
I just tried it again, it disconnects all my calls as soon as I place them.
Worked for me. Called 18664998008, options 3-2-0.
Downloading. Hope this works for UK numbers.
I swear skype has been doing this for years.

I remember back when Skype let you call phones for free... twas fun.
can anyone confirm this?
Who else thought of iCarly the first time they saw the title thread, honestly?
Also, I use Skype instead...
I never use things that start with the old fad of "i", except iPods.
I automatically think of iCarly and trash it.

It does work, don't worry you can trust it, but here's some stuff:
Pros:
It's free, albeit limited, for both you and the person you're calling
Anonymity - I don't think they can trace you. It's like calling from a payphone
Good if you need to make a quick free call to someone
Cons
Only about 2 minutes a call
Can only call in USA and Canada for free. I think when I downloaded the desktop version a loong time ago it came with some credits I used to call some Aussies, but yeah just US and Canada
Your voice quality's bad for most people on the other end
It does have a tendency to go down (on me :smug:) where it simply refuses to call numbers, but I haven't had that in awhile.
