What are your thoughts on the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882? This law banned the immigration of Chinese people from the United States. This made Chinese people the only people not allowed to immigrate to the United States. I for one think it's a part of our history that we should not be so proud of. What's your take on this?

It was because the Chinese were working on the railroad that led to California, and that they were working too hard(making Americans look bad). This soon extended to all Asians in 1924(severely reduced or banned all immigrants from the east/Asia). The Act ended in 1943(China was our ally), and 1965 resulted in 20,000 from each country(I think, including all Asian countries).
So in my opinion, not a good reason, was unjust. Then again, no country is a country with no bad history(no country is a saint).

I don't feel comfortable exposing things about me on the internet, no matter if it's just age. I don't even enjoy telling what country I'm from. Hence why I didn't mention my age before. But due to viewing many posts from this forum, many, if not most users here, seem to be still in their teens and in highschool. Won't say my age, But let's just say I graduated from Highschool years ago. I may not be ancient, but according to my knowledge, I'm older than quite alot of facepunchers, or atleast make up part of the population of mature users here, so I can safely assume there is a good chance I'm older than most of the users I come across.
Also, If you think a post which contains nothing but "Really?" in asking whether or not someone looked but cartoons of something makes sense, that is something I will never get, to me, that's a pointless post.
