Never mind. I've decided too many people will think this information is stupid, due to the fact that they most likely think something completely different. I don't want to deal with the criticism. I was hoping for a discussion thread, but most likely that's not how it would have turned out in the first place. Someone lock this please.
NOTE: BEFORE YOU READ, I HAD A LONG CONVERSATION WITH A FRIEND A WHILE BACK, AND I FELT LIKE SHARING THE INFORMATION THAT WE DISCUSSED THAT MADE SENSE TO BOTH OF US. PLEASE KNOW THAT WHAT I'VE STATED BELOW IS SIMPLY OUR OWN THOUGHTS, NOT GOING AGAINST ANY RELIGION OR JOINING ANY RELIGION, AND SOME OF THE THINGS STATED BELOW MAY NOT MAKE PERFECT SENSE TO YOU. PLEASE TRY TO COMPREHEND WHAT YOU'RE READING, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY SHIT COMMENTS, PLEASE KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF. THIS IS HERE FOR THE PEOPLE THAT DON'T PUT WHAT IS BEING SAID IN TO CONSIDERATION, AND THAT IT IS BASICALLY AN OPINION. AGAIN, THIS IS SIMPLY WHAT I AND FRIENDS THOUGHT MADE SENSE, DON'T THINK WE'RE STUPID BECAUSE WE BELIEVE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO YOU. Basically, I'm going to explain some things that make sense to me about things such as death, dreams, and reincarnation. I'm very bored so I've decided to write up what I think on this subject, and I could care less what shit comments you have for me. Now, basically what I think about death is, it is related to being "half asleep" or "half awake", meaning when you're partially asleep/awake, your brain can't sent messages to the rest of the body because your nerve impulses won't respond, because what I think is the sub conscience takes over while you're basically sleeping and generates your personal traits in to dreams. (Example: What you're scared of, what you like, what you're thinking of, etc) In other words, what kind of person you are. If you watch a very scary movie, and you're scared shitless for the next few days, your sub conscience is generating what you're most concerned about at that time. (In that case, it would be what ever movie you watched, and most likely yourself being in the scary situation. And while asleep, your sub conscience doesn't actually keep track of the information that you dream about, which is why I think you would have a hard time remembering your dreams. In my opinion, since the sub conscience generates picture in your mind while your body is resting, and not responding to nerve impulses, and when you awaken from a scary dream, that you don't want to be in, in other words your sub conscience begins to panic because your body won't respond to the nerve impulses, and when your body finally does, that is why you jump up in shock and your heart beats at a surprisingly fast rate for a short period of time, until you get a grip on reality. In dreams that you're aware of what's actually happening, but you can't seem to move yourself, that's another reason why you begin to just ramble thoughts mindlessly in your head, because your sub conscience is beginning to panic because the nerve impulses won't respond. I also believe, that when someone first dies, the sub conscience is completely aware of what's happening, but as a persons brain/body dies, the sub conscience begins to panic, generating a countless amount of thoughts in your head. (I know it sounds confusing, but think of it this way, your sub conscience takes control when you're dead, regardless of how "alive" you are. When the sub conscience believes that there's nothing further that it can do, not being able to send nerve impulses (due to the dead brain), and due to the non functioning body, it exits the body and finds another human body, which is where I believe, the process of reincarnation comes in. As soon as the sub conscience exits a used up/dead body (basically, a persons spirit), it immediately seeks a new body, not carrying any information about it's previous life, thus being given a fresh start. AGAIN, THIS IS SIMPLY WHAT I AND FRIENDS THOUGHT MADE SENSE, DON'T THINK WE'RE STUPID BECAUSE WE BELIEVE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO YOU. IF YOU HAVE ANY SHIT COMMENTS, PLEASE KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF. If you are interested in this specific topic, please post your thoughts below.
the brain is literally dead when you die. there are no lost connections or anything. nothing is going on, no activity. no dreaming or anything at all. just nothingness. plus nothing is being transmitted when you die, humans have no souls.
When you die, you die. Any thought of conciousness is probably caused by brain damage and the lack of nutrients and shit.

Now come up with a way that works that makes any scientific sense.

What I've stated is just what I and friends believe, and I support no religion, but what I've stated makes sense to me.
Awesome. Now tell me how this is even remotely possible when the subconscious is simply a series of electrical pulses that is completely dependant of the host body.
Wait... souls don't exist? -Walks out this thread defeated and alone-
If reincarnation is true, then the world population would be the same every year.
I would think that if it existed at all, the time spans would be different. Everyone has their own life span.
I just stopped thinking about consciousness. Fap to more porn.
Good to know. What I've stated is just what I and friends believe, and I support no religion, but what I've stated makes sense to me.
Yeah okay. It makes sense to you now, because you don't know any of the shit that would go into making this happen you don't know what actually DOES happen. So obviously some shitty nonsense hypothesis would make sense to you. How the fuck could the subconsciousness exit the body? The subconsciousness is just the part of the brain that does shit without us having to think about it. It's not a fucking magical organ that keeps "you" from dying. You believe something that doesn't make sense to anyone who has any sort of scientific understanding what so ever. If you're gonna post something without explaining it in the least bit, only rationalizing it as a "I believe this and that for no fucking reason" be prepared for people to criticize your beliefs.
why did you snip op,op? its a great discussion point, don't be afraid to flaunt your ideas.

OP here since he snipped it. Stop breaking my automerge
:argh:
what the fuck kybalt fffffffffffffffffffff
you broke your own automerge :v:
...
Also, OP. Please consider all the contradicting evidence to your idea, instead of just outright believing something because you "think it makes sense".
Op, if you can't deal with criticism, why did you post it? Did you expect an endless circlejerk of how your idea is perfect and entirely insightful? Criticism is harsh, but how do you expect to learn anything without any of it?
When someone dies, their brain has been scientifically proven to fire off for about fifteen minutes with rapid activity. Also when someone has a dream that seems like it takes up hours or even days, it really is the brain firing for about 2-5 seconds. Because of this the fifteen minutes of activity after we die can be up to hundreds of years of dreams. People have said this is why when people die 'their life flashes before their eyes.' Using this logic, the life we are living now has a high possibility of being part of our dying brain activity, we may already be dead.
I was hoping for more of a discussion thread, but I saw the first posts, which were completely going against the information provided, and I decided that I didn't want to deal with any more criticism.
...
don't be such a baby when someone corrects your "theories" on life when you don't have all the necessary information to form an accurate conclusion.
Hey that's great. Now come up with a way that works that makes any scientific sense.
Screw science MAKE UP RANDOM SHIT. I do believe in re-incarnation just not exactly like this.

You just kinda rambled on about some hypothesis you had.
don't be such a baby when someone corrects your "theories" on life when you don't have all the necessary information to form an accurate conclusion.
I'm not being a baby. I've decided I didn't want to share the information any more, due to the constant criticism that has come, and will come, but people posted the information in a reply >.<

Ta Spark. OP, I think you're stupid
