Sup everyone, I drive a blue 2005 Chevy Cavalier. I've just ordered this stereo off of Amazon (Boss BV7325B In-Dash 3.2" DVD/MP3/CD Widescreen Receiver with USB and Bluetooth (Detachable Front Panel) (http://www.amazon.com/BV7325B-Widescreen-Receiver-Bluetooth-Detachable/dp/B0032FOK1K). I like it, because I'll be able to play video but I won't have a huge ass monitor blocking my heat/A.C vents. It has a pretty decent resolution too for the size (1440 x 234) Plus it's got bluetooth support which is really fucking awesome for the price

I want to get a good set of subwoofers, nothing so crazy that I'll have to put that matt shit in so my car doesn't rattle. I really like the idea of some subwoofer boxes coming with lights that pulse with the bass, however I don't want something that's not durable. I know I need an amp, a really good wiring kit, possibly a mounting kit for the stereo. I haven't ever put anything like this in, I have set up a couple home stereo systems, my dad is a mechanic so I'll have all the tools I could possibly need, and shit like screws, nails, wood, etc.
At a second glance, the reviews make these ones seem decent, but I'm no expert on car audio so I'll leave it up to you.
