Spotted by the @AusVGClass Twitter account, the next instalment in the GTA franchise has been given a consumer advisory for "Drug Use". The Classification Board site scores the game as Strong Impact for Themes, Violence, Language, Nudity and Sex, with Drug Use getting a High Impact rating.
http://www.cnet.com.au/gta-v-scores-r18-classification-339345048.htm
Wait, Saints Row 4 gets rejected twice, yet this gets in on the first time?
Wait, Saints Row 4 gets rejected twice, yet this gets in on the first time?
Saints Row 4 got blocked because drugs give you advantages and it encourages you to use it With the Marijuana reference in GTA V, it's in context because its for the players health and I doubt you can use it multiple times The policies are pretty fucking stupid because as I've said before, TV and Movies get away with shit that games would be RC'd with
Wait, Saints Row 4 gets rejected twice, yet this gets in on the first time?

According to a statement sent to GameSpot, the game was banned on the grounds of "implied sexual violence", pertaining specifically to the "Alien Anal Probe" weapon and the use of illicit drugs referred to as "alien narcotics".
http://www.gamespot.com/news/anal-probe-weapons-responsible-for-australian-saints-row-iv-banning-6410735
But will it be changed in any way? Was that a rating for an Australia specific version of the game?
But will it be changed in any way? Was that a rating for an Australia specific version of the game?
No, if something needed to be changed it would be RC'd then resubmitted, this got straight through which means this version of the game is the same as the USA, UK and Canada [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] and other international countries
http://www.gamespot.com/news/anal-probe-weapons-responsible-for-australian-saints-row-iv-banning-6410735
And the anal probe was removed, and SR4 denied again because of drugs. Our classification board just can't classify.
And the anal probe was removed, and SR4 denied again because of drugs. Our classification board just can't classify.
They should add back the penetrator and name it "The Australian Classification Board"
They should add back the penetrator and name it "The Australian Classification Board"
Kevin Rudd head masks please for the Australian Re-Re-Released version
sr4 is banned because it is a bad game gtaV is allowed because it is a good game they are just protecting us from bad games
sr4 is banned because it is a bad game gtaV is allowed because it is a good game they are just protecting us from bad games
I'm not really a fan of Saints Row, but it's dumb to call it a bad game because it's certainty not.
sr4 is banned because it is a bad game gtaV is allowed because it is a good game they are just protecting us from bad games
Saints Row is a fun series? Not everything has to be serious
im all for fun and not being serious but sr3 is just plain dumb and not fun
Now lets see of it can successfully make it to PC.
http://www.gamespot.com/news/anal-probe-weapons-responsible-for-australian-saints-row-iv-banning-6410735
There's a theme of aliens in Saints Row IV and it gets rejected because of alien narcotics and an alien anal probe since they aren't "in context". [editline]1st August 2013[/editline]
sr4 is banned because it is a bad game gtaV is allowed because it is a good game they are just protecting us from bad games
But i can purchase Rogue Warrior. So your statement is not only stupid, but wrong.
im all for fun and not being serious but sr3 is just plain dumb and not fun
You know what game IS stupid and dumb? Pac-man. Man, what the fuck right? A maze with a yellow thing, and GHOSTS? Glad nobody played that stupid game. edit Man you guys don't get satire.
Fuck rating agencies. If anything, they spark even MORE curiosity in young minds.
pacman is charmingly abstract and innocent saints row 3 is vulgar knuckle-dragging street-thug humour
pacman is charmingly abstract and innocent saints row 3 is vulgar knuckle-dragging street-thug humour
So you don't like the humor. That's great. Still doesn't make it a bad game.
pacman is charmingly abstract and innocent saints row 3 is vulgar knuckle-dragging street-thug humour
you're comparing sr3 to sr4. that's a good joke
Now lets see of it can successfully make it to PC.
It'll be R18+ across all platforms, they need to resubmit for each console/device however but the PC should get through easy
Anal probe is pretty silly, I got over it just by watching it doesn't add much to the game except some hur hur
Fuck rating agencies. If anything, they spark even MORE curiosity in young minds.
We need classifications because it spearates what's good for children and what isn't, it gives parents power to moderate what games they want their children to play Like when I was young, mum only allowed me to play G, G8+ (defunct rating) and PG only, of course you were the king if you got your hands on M15+ or MA15+ games
im all for fun and not being serious but sr3 is just plain dumb and not fun
I guess all that fun I was having was just my imagination. Thanks man.
Didn't Destroy All Humans have a Anal Probe gun?
it gives parents power to moderate what games they want their children to play
Except a third party isn't needed to do the work for them.
Except a third party isn't needed to do the work for them.
It is, parents don't know what GTA V could be, kids fool parents you know in saying "oh its got nothing harmful" then next minute your going down lanes of traffic doing drive bys. You can't expect parents to know what Television programs, Movies and games contain, that's why consumer advice and classifications were invented and have been used ever since, also it helps consumers in deciding what they want to watch, if you wanted a full on violent horror you would try and search for movies rated MA15+/R18+ It's not stupid
sr4 is banned because it is a bad game gtaV is allowed because it is a good game they are just protecting us from bad games
Tell me all about how you've played SR4. I'm quite interested to hear what you liked and didn't like about SR4. You must be very lucky to get early access.
guys, the point of saints row is too go to far to entertain, im not surprised the classification board said no
I'm not really a fan of Saints Row, but it's dumb to call it a bad game because it's certainty not.
how is it not a bad game? the entire concept around the game is ''HAHA DUDE DILDOS AND STUFF AWESOME #DUBSTEP''. saints row 1 & 2 were a different story though....
