It's pollen. Pine trees produce a lot of it and just shaking one makes it go every where.

Uh no they're not, its a VOHL DV4000 snowblower ([url]http://www.tenco.ca/produits.php?parent_id=2&id=17&lg=en[/url]). It must be just a region thing, where I live there's lots of snow so I see these things all the time in the winter. I suppose it looks pretty spectacular if you've never seen one of them before though.
