Christianity says Jesus was the son of God, Islam says Jesus was a messenger of God, and Judaism says Jesus was a carpenter who got executed.

Being jewish (besides the fact that most people use it as an ethnic term rather than a religious identity) doesn't just mean you believe Jesus was a believer of Judaism. You also have to believe that he wasn't a prophet at all but instead a false messiah.

Conversion is considered a legitimate way of becoming Christian, but it is not considered a legitimate way of becoming Jewish. At best most Christians can fit the description of a Jewish heretic, which is not a particularly pleasant-sounding term.

If you're white with curly black hair and a slightly-bigger-than-average nose, you're "jewish" throughout high school and college, at least in regard to jokes. Hell, I know an Indian kid born on 9/11 who's the brunt of terrorist jokes all the time. He's not even from the middle east - his family's from Calcutta. Stereotypes go a long way towards self-image, I guess.

That explains why I hate Israel. I don't feel jewish enough. If I wear a yamaka will I like Israel more?
