Should I bother reinstalling FUEL? hmmm...

Holy fucking shit, time to play! [editline]17th December 2010[/editline] Gentlemen... How about we play online?
Huh, it's $10. I may just buy this. [editline]17th December 2010[/editline] Er, FUEL I mean. Then I'll get this mod. :P
I love how the entire mod is 1.3MB. [editline]17th December 2010[/editline] 1.3 extra megabytes and the developers could have made a B game into an A game
Ironic how a mod team seems more dedicated than paid developers. FUEL could have been seriously good if the developers/publisher actually gave a shit.
They should've just called the mod "reFUELed" or something. FUEL: Refueled just sounds silly.
They should've just called the mod "reFUELed" or something. FUEL: Refueled just sounds silly.
Sounds like a bad "yo dawg we put fuel in your fuel" meme type thing.
Is this game worth buying?
Yes
It's exceedingly boring and the driving mechanics are terrible. So, no, not really. Buuuuut, it's only $10 so you're not losing much.
It's exceedingly boring and the driving mechanics are terrible.
Well, have you tried it with this mod? And yeah, the game is pretty cheap. So it's not a big loss if you end up not liking it.
Time to whip out the 'ol Fuel disk! V:v:V
Well, have you tried it with this mod? And yeah, the game is pretty cheap. So it's not a big loss if you end up not liking it.
I only played the demo.
I only played the demo.
The demo was one of the lowest points of the game. The full game is ten times better. This may sound boring for you but I had a blast getting the two achievements for driving from one corner to the other. The way the enviroment in the game changes as you move is great!
FUEL is a prime example of how procedurally generated terrain is the future for gaming. I really should buy it some time.
Is the game procedurally generated? I thought it had a set map, I knew it was huge though.
Oh it's really huge. I spent a good hour or two driving from the very top right to the very bottom left. :v:
I remember RPS had an article where he was going to drive around the whole map, took him 8 hours.
I'd love it if the GPS wouldn't lead you down roads for an hour then decide it would be a good idea to turn you around, thus undoing all of that driving. I also wish it had settings such as taking the quickest route, or the longest, most scenic route.
I still don't have a problem with the vanilla version.
I downloaded the latest beta, but when I press the .exe it won't start. It shows up in the task bar, but other than that nothing happens. grr [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] oh nevermind
Does anyone notice a flashing on the right side of the page when you open the frame as a new tab? It's in the dark area.
