Sure his skits are cheesy and usually unneeded fluff but his opinion overall is pretty easy to relate to. Aside from the skits I find his presentation overall pretty enjoyable.

I mean I sometimes find his critique to be extremely predictable or outright stupid, but I generally find him entertaining at least. He's likable

Angry Joe's videos are the definition of bloated I would say. I know the guy who does some of the basic VFX stuff for his videos, but unfortunately I think Joe edits them. Like the videos make sense editing wise, I just mean some sample clips go on far too long, some gags run too long. That sort of stuff. Like him showing the clip from Space Balls. Why not just have the bit with "what the hell was that... they've gone to plaid" Anyone who knows the reference to the movie would have gotten it instantly.
I'm just being nitpicky though, I know.
Edit: though I will say I'm most of the way through this video and in general it's much better than usual. He's so fucking spot on with the game though. Even ignoring the missing features it's so boring and mundane and the UI makes me so angry.
I'm no Joe fan boy but I've almost agreed with all of his reviews so I definitely trust his opinion

Some snappier editing would definitely be nice, but in its own way I do kinda like how comprehensive his reviews can be.
On an unrelated note, is that CGI background [B]ever[/B] going to be updated? I know it's trivial but it would make his show look so much more professional if he had a more interesting background image to use. Or hell, just a different image every now and again.

I don't think I've disagreed with a game review before but I don't know what to say about his movie reviews. They all really liked suicide squad, not "ehh it's not as bad as everybody says it is" but 8/10.
Anyway the more I watch reviews about this game the crazier it gets. There's so many clips of people just asking Sean Murray if you're able to do x and he's always like "ummmmmmmm.................[I]yes.[/I]"
Sean Murray may have left EA but EA never left him.
lol, looking at all the stuff that was promised and never delivered actually makes me kind of hyped for what this game should have been. I feel sorry for the people who bought this game and got totally scammed, I hope people are refunding this thing to hell and back. The developer is such a big mouthed lying ass.
I think I'm weird here, but I wouldn't say that Sean Murray was "lying" at any point- I am sure most of the things he talked about are in development of some sort, and in a year we'll be seeing them back. Unfortunately for consumers and for Hello Games, it seems Sony rushed them to have a product before the big bash of Fall Games, as well as have the price be around a standard AAA release, leading to the problems today. Now, this doesn't excuse the state the game released in- nor does it excuse the price. But I think I can feel bad for Hello Games, who I honestly think wanted to release this game under Early Access for about half the price it released in.

No, people need to stop making excuses for him just because he's a goofy "indie dev" and Sony is evil. He was absolutely "lying". When you tell people you can do X, Y and Z in a game and the game releases without the capability to do X, Y and Z, that's called a lie dude. There's no other way to put it. If plans change, then let consumers know rather than selling them a game that literally does not exist. The guy has a big mouth and seemed really eager to constantly spout off about features that never existed in the final game, I think that's a step beyond "oh Sony just forced them to cut some stuff". At least try to manage expectations a little bit instead of parading around telling people you can play with friends and compete with each other in a game that is 100% singleplayer.
