Already knew one was coming out from one of the Rocksteady job listings detailing a "AAA Game being released in 2014 by rocksteady" Of which there can only be Batman. The first game was Joker trying to mindfuck batman, and the second game was [sp]Ra's Al Ghul trying to kill hundreds of people, with the Joker only being involved to find a cure for his disease, and then dying[/sp]

I'm a bit tired of Batman, would love to see them branch out. I remember the rumors of the Justice League thing, that'd be pretty fun to see. I remember the Ninja Turtles thing too, that would've been great.

The one where Black Mask is set up as the major bad guy[sp]and is then thrown to the sideline with his only appearance being in a pathetic sidequest?[/sp] The one that took quite some liberties with canon established by Asylum and City when it wasn't copy-pasting shit from earlier games? If you don't mind, I'll stick with Rocksteady's games. I appreciate WB Montreal's efforts but it just didn't work out.

Origins was quite obviously a filler game; Rocksteady needed to work on "World" another year or two, decided to let another studio work on a spinoff Batman, who kinda fucked things up due to lack of experience and effort. Hell, the fact that "world" was coming out meant that Conroy wasn't going to be Batman for Origins (that or they wanted Batman to sound younger). I'm looking forward to this new game, if it is related to it. I think it's more likely that this is for "Origins: GOTY version" or something, which includes the dlc they'll be releasing.

The stories of each game had their own themes as well. The theme of Asylum was "insanity", the theme of City was "destruction", and the theme of Origins was "Warner Bros needed some cash"

[sp]Talia is dead, Joker is dead, Azrael prophesizes a burning city and Batman, Harley is an emotional wreck, Batman appears to have PTSD or something, obviously emotionally traumatized, and its unknown if Batman saved the citizens infected with Jokers diseased blood. And on top of all of this, Scarecrow is the maint antagonist.[/sp]

On top of that, one of IGNs staff tweeted an image of them at rocksteady to test their new game. The tweet was quickly deleted, and he said that we'll need to wait until march
