• [Documentary] Air War Over Romania

As I saw those WW2 documentaries posted around here I decided to look for some good documentaries about my country in the war. Found a great one in English about the Allied bombing of the Ploesti refineries (which basically supplied most of the oil for the german war-machine). So, enjoy. I apologize for the bump, but I bookmarked this and finally got around to watching it. It was a pleasant surprise to see something about WW2 that isn't covered hundreds of times by the History Chanel. I think it was very well done; specifically those awesome aerial transitions from the helicopter flight to the actual film of the raid on the petroleum facilities. That seemed like a very odd time in the war; Romania switching sides in '44 and all. Overall, I'd recommend this to people who like documentaries of the war, as it is a lot of new and interesting information about a small side of the war that many have forgotten.
