I there is some really interesting topics in here (The left, Linda Sarsour, the Burqa bans). Though not sure where Sam Harris' suggestion would be on the Temp ban considering he disagrees with it at the beginning but basically finishes with, "not wanting to import terrorists/radical muslims is a totally rational thing not to want."
You act like the trump ban actually keeps terrorists out. He was saying banning muslims increases radicalism and extremeism and the "west vs islam war" fantasy both parties are pushing out. He wants to deal with radical terrorism through islam itself and reformers in the religion

No, I get that, but I am curious cause it seems he hints at the end that a block of some kind can be a rational response, but at the same time you need to empower reformers. So I would be curious what his actual policy he would suggest to be.

Screening? As was the plan before Trump, and will be the plan after Trump because a flat "nope" isn't a useful way of dealing with the issues now, or in the future.
