[QUOTE]The cable, dubbed Faster, will connect the US with Japan and cost about $300m (£179m; 225m euros), the consortium said. The trans-Pacific fibre cable would be capable of handling 60 terabytes per second - enough to send more than 2,000 uncompressed HD films a second. The cable will be operational by 2016. I remember reading about this elsewhere and people were already trying to discredit by saying that it was only 60 terabits per second.

They want google to do our email, maps, videos, to run our internet service, our cars, they want them on our fucking face, and a variety of other things, under the assumption that google is a flawless moral company. They're not, and I don't care that their slogan is 'Don't be evil'. EA could us that as a slogan if they wanted, hell, anyone could. Google has plenty of their own shit they're not telling you, just like every huge company. Saying you're not evil don't mean you're not evil, and I would probably flag Google as one of the more evil companies because of their flagrant never-ending expansion, consumption, and monopolization of internet services, usually to a drop in quality but who cares more money more money. I don't know why Google gets such a free pass then skip off in joy while we bitch about Youtube. Youtube sucks ass, with no other real options. Guess who you have to thank for that? Monopolies and all powerful mega corporations are never good and Google by far is not the exception.
