The bugger was a real warrior, but my father and I finally plummeted it to submission.
It started gargling after one professionally swift beheading from my father's knife, after which it started squirming like mad before finally laying still.
Skinning it was a pain in its own right, I'm getting better at this by the year though; but now I have finger cramps from all the work, my index finger locked up and I had some difficulty writing this.
I also got a mild food poisoning as soon as we finished skinning it (from something I ate previously, obviously), and I couldn't participate cutting it up; I started feeling stomach cramps and the ground was shaking at my world-shattering, reality-tearing battle-cries, the ensuing campaign at my bathroom ended in victory however, but that's another story of bittersweet joy and tears.
I just had my breakfast, cooked out of my kill; rice and bread crumbs covered in freshly cooked meat, all soaked in gravy; I have to admit that tasting your own efforts manifested in a hot meal is surely a rewarding experience.
You clobbered a sheep to near death and then beheaded it, I could understand if it was something that could fight back but that's just horrible.
No Mint Sauce?
Good going.
Good going.
Also, how did you get food poisoning from skinning it?
You ate raw meat or what?
I also thought that, but i reread his post and it contained (from something I ate previously obviously)
I've heard somewhere that sheep don't like being slaughtered.
Don't know if it's true.
Was it a younger sheep for lamb or an older for mutton?
I love lamb!
Job well done. Nothing better than eating your own kill.
Happy New Years =]
Sounds cool.
No Mint Sauce?
It is my philosophy that only lamb which is badly reared or badly cooked needs mint sauce.
If lamb isn't tender and juicy, then you can go ahead and blitz it with tastebud-holocausting mint sauce.

I think it was a bad snack or something, since I've been awake all night.
My father would've been disappointed if I went to bed and didn't help.
No Mint Sauce?
Good idea, albeit a bit late; next meal will probably have that though.

It wasn't a lamb for sure, but it wasn't really old either.

lamutton chop
There's a sheep herd over at st. Halvard school. Mind coming here?
Honestly I couldn't do that... Why can't they just give the sheep something that will kill it instead of fucking cutting it's head off...

:psyduck: A sheep CAN destroy your spleen and some of your vital organs if it gets the chance to do so, it's not a turkey.

Thank you. :)

It's not like I'm going postal on sheep or anything. :ninja:
I know it's a horrible act, but it must feel pretty awesome to butcher something like that :v:

Sheep are tasty.
Sheep are fluffy
Not anymore they're not.
EDIT: Well, at least the lamb-ish sheep thing.
fucking nice bro!

It wouldn't be smart to give it something that kills it and then cook and eat it now would it?
Plus, beheading it is a merciful act, as it cuts off the central nervous system and the sheep doesn't suffer much pain, it dies faster this way.
Got a picture of said sheep?
Got a picture of said sheep?
No, I wanted to photograph it, but then I thought it would freak out from the flash so I didn't.
Would have been awesome if you tilted you head to the sky and yelled "Allahhhh" while doing it.
You slaughtered a defenseless creature?
GG!
