Drums feel weak, if you want the deadmau5 effect you need to sidechain like a mother fucker.
This isn't trance, it's house, but whatever. I personally think it's really great. Could use some little arp to go above it, but it sounded great anyways.

If you don't mind me asking, what does your setup look like? DAW, VSTs, and so on.

For leads and arps I use Zeta+, Harmless, Harmor, Sylenth1, and Massive (very rarely use massive for leads that often). For my acoustic bass sound, I use this fucking INCREDIBLE bass VST module called "Trilian". It puts alot of people off due to it's in total 60 GB file size (30 GB setup files, 30 GB actual files). When I'm not feeling like I can cope with CPU rape, I use sytrus for basses, short and sweet things. For EQ/compression I use FLs own, because it's the least CPU intensive, and both easy to use, yet give an astounding result. By the way, thanks for saying it's alot coming from me, that made me feel lovely :v:
Some pretty cool ideas here dude! Like Dead Madman said, it sounds more like House Music, but it's good either way.

I just haven't got a clue about mastering, or electronic music in general so most of my stuff, if it does turn out good, is only that way because I just fucked around enough. 60 gb? Omnisphere is already eating so much of my space..
You don't need to worry about mastering or any of the technical bullshit, what you need to be worrying about is your creative process. As soon as record labels are begging you to release your shit because they want you now, then is the time to start worrying about mastering.
