Chemotherapy patient in surgical mask mistaken as the "Surgical Mask Bandit" by Wells Fargo
A cancer patient walked into a bank with a protective mask last week and workers mistakenly believed he was a bank robber. Joe Jaramillo went through a round of chemotherapy the day before the incident and was wearing the mask to fight off germs. Before he knew what was happening the masked cancer patient was standing in the bank while surrounded by police officers. As it turns out the FBI has been searching in California for the “Surgical Mask Bandit.” The bandit is wanted in at least two Orange County bank heists.
Odd enough, some guy in Canada was arrested just a few days prior for robbing banks in a surgical mask.
Wow, that is some horrible bad luck.
I hope he gets better.
I doubt the hat helped.
Surgical mask confirmed for Payday 2
Poor guy, at least he as an interesting story to tell people later.
Walking into a bank wearing a mask isn't normal but on mechlorethamine it is.
"surgical mask bandit" sounds ridiculous
If you say 'mask bandit' ten times real fast it sounds like 'ass bandit'.

i ended with "mas banit"
its an honest enough mistake, if a guy with most of his face concealed walks into your bank and you've heard of someone with a disguise like his, then you'd call the police too
