Poole already has a new hand on order from her prosthetist.

When I read the thread title I said to myself in my head, "... damn it, where did I leave my hand again?" and pictured a woman walking around missing her hand.
I'm legitimately surprised that I basically got just that by coming in here.
I can't help but to think of the scene in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy where Arthur tells Marvin to give him a hand.
Not sure why.

I was wondering about the title, because if my memory serves me right, you can't open the windows of the Skytrain.
So I saw that this thread got 45 funnies and thought that facepunch was just being edgy again. Luckily it wasn't her real hand although of course she lost her real hand at some point which sucks.

I like to imagine that a prosthetic arm could be used as a pretty powerful weapon. Vancouver's not a dangerous place though, so she'll be fine even though she's a little 'armless.

The tops can be popped open for fresh air but it's well known that the doors sometimes don't detect something the thickness of a purse or bag stuck in the doors when they close and there are multiple instances of people being dragged off the platforms either because they are still wearing their purse/bag or because they refuse to let go of it.

I don't understand those people whom get prosthetic hands that try to imitate the looks of real hands as those are uncanny as all hell.
