I was dicking around in Bad Company's singleplayer mode and I accidentally stumbled upon this:
i wish i was harrison ford also nice miss with the grenade launcher =P
I remember stopping on that part to listen to the first one, Made me laugh.
These are great, I can tell you were just wishing for Haggard to start another conversation when you were taking aim with the grenade launcher.
I like how they did that adds realism
Should have taken a DEET-tour.
Haggard: "I just said i thought we were in Africa, I have been corrected, and i appologize. I did not mean to besmirch your great nation of people." Red: "...alright" It's moments like these that make me wish the single played was just a little longer.
I was at that exact spot and I heard the Harrison Ford conversation. I was trying to plan my attack and was like "What, the, fuck"
dont you go all spanglish on me
I was at that exact spot and I heard the Harrison Ford conversation. I was trying to plan my attack and was like "What, the, fuck"
Same.
I got the besmirchment conversation.
the last conversation cracked me up.
And this is why I fucking love the singleplayer campaigns in the Bad Company games.
"Who goes to war wearing cowboy hats?" "err, cowboys" Favourite quote ever
I love sarge cuz he's totally indifferent. [editline]06:59AM[/editline] Sweetwater: No one appreciates my puns... Sarge: It was funny. Sweetwater: Thanks sarge.
What's funny is he keeps trying to line up a shot and haggard keeps interrupting.
The last conversation was hilarious :v:
I just said I thought we were in Africa, I have been corrected and I apologize. I did not mean to besmirch your good nation's people. He went all Spanglish on himself there
I heard the deet and the africa ones when I was playing. They're all great, I wonder if there's any more different ones.
I wonder if these are re-used. Like if you don't listen to them, do they play later on in the game?
I heard a CODMW1 reference, all spec. operationed up, rescuing hostages on planes, all slowmotion kills and whatnot.
I love how he says "what the fuck are you talking about hags"
I wonder if these are re-used. Like if you don't listen to them, do they play later on in the game?
There are actually a lot of these in the game, and what conversation you get is determined by where you hang around. Like just after flynn dies I went and sat around in a part of the canals (whatever the level before the bomb gets set off is) and they started talking about religion and god and how much they like coffee and donuts. Not sure how many points in the game give you conversations but it's definitely more than 1.
I heard a CODMW1 reference, all spec. operationed up, rescuing hostages on planes, all slowmotion kills and whatnot.
Uh It's a Air Force One reference... they fucking said it.
........... What the fuck are you talking about Hags?
I love how they would interrupt you before you take a shot EVERY time.
"Who goes to war wearing cowboy hats?" "err, cowboys" Favourite quote ever
"The Dallas cowboys go to war every sunday night, sometimes mondays."
At one point for me, they all started talking about woody allen, and they were all just saying his name different ways.
Snowmobiles are for sissies. :colbert:
"Yer'a good nation 'o people" I really like the way the conversations sound, never heard something quite like this in a game.
