The Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel. "We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor." Netanyahu reportedly made the comments during a conference at Bar-Ilan University on the division of Jerusalem as part of a peace deal with the Palestinians. Meanwhile, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cast doubt over the veracity of the September 11 attacks Thursday, calling it a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq. "Four or five years ago, a suspicious event occurred in New York. A building collapsed and they said that 3,000 people had been killed but never published their names," Ahmadinejad told Iranians in the holy city of Qom. "Under this pretext, they [the U.S.] attacked Afghanistan and Iraq and since then, a million people have been killed only in Iraq." Speaking Wednesday at a news conference on the Iran threat, Netanyahu compared Ahmadinejad to Adolf Hitler and likened Tehran's nuclear program to the threat the Nazis posed to Europe in the late 1930s. Netanyahu said Iran differed from the Nazis in one vital respect, explaining that "where that [Nazi] regime embarked on a global conflict before it developed nuclear weapons," he said. "This regime [Iran] is developing nuclear weapons before it embarks on a global conflict."
That fucking cunt!
Oh wow. This is just so blatantly fucked up.
well that just about proves jews did 9/11
He's right that it swung American public opinion in their favor.
Well he is right about that.
Yeah, that is so.
Yeah he is right. It put a lot of attention of the Islamic countries who were annoying Israel. And because of this, it makes people feel sorry for Israel for getting all the shit flung at them by the Islamic countries.
Pretty much true. Hell, I don't even condemn him for saying it. He just put it more bluntly.
Pretty much true. Hell, I don't even condemn him for saying it. He just put it more bluntly.
now basically half of the population or more thinks brown person = terrorist including Fox News and its viewers
'9/11 is a good thing, cause it got America to help us kill people we hate.'
I don't see the problem here. Of course the 9/11 attacks were good to Israel in this way, just like the holocaust was good to Israel in the way that it furthered the need of a Jewish state, but nobody thinks these attacks or the holocaust were a good thing overall, that's just the good side of them, which is overshadowed by the death of thousands or millions. Most bad things have good sides to them as well, another example: wars, which were the primary cause of technological advancement throughout history. Without the cold war computers and space travel were still in their early stages in the 21st century. I can't think of one "bad", "evil" or "cruel" event that didn't do something good too.
He's right that it swung American public opinion in their favor.
as sick as it is, netanyahu is just being honest. it's kind of the same thing in that war, with the deaths of thousands, brings forth new technology beneficial to thousands more.
Oh dear, I see a few stupid things said in the OP. Ahmadinejad has obviously not done any research if he thinks they never released the names of those who died. Netanyahu is invoking Godwins law far too early and making incredibly stupid claims about Iran. Netanhayu could of also phrased it better and been a bit more respectful to a major ally.
A man stabbing his wife over and over. :smug:
Depends on the wife.
A man stabbing his wife over and over. :smug:
Depends on why he did it, what happened to him afterwards, etc. [editline]05:56PM[/editline]
Oh dear, I see a few stupid things said in the OP.
Oh wow. This is just so blatantly fucked up.
But it's true. Brace for being flamed and more pointless and unfounded Israel hate.
This is like if a guy I really hate would kill my friend, I would be really upset, but at least he would go to jail for this, obviously I wouldn't want this to happen, but there's a good side to everything.
well .... it did swing the publics opinions .... what more can the man say
But it's true. Brace for being flamed and more pointless and unfounded Israel hate.
lol, Jenkem, you never respond to anyone who refutes you. So you're one to talk. [editline]05:49PM[/editline] I doubt Netanyahu is weeping over 9/11
I doubt Netanyahu is weeping over 9/11
Why would he?
At least he isn't playing politics, I guess [editline]09:23PM[/editline] lying through his teeth about how sorry he is for what happened on that day
Hitler was great for the U.S., sure all those Jews died but think of how much money and technology we made!
Why would he?
didn't say he should. just saying he seems to get a hard on for genocide of little brown people, some Americans who died, thus allowing him to continue with his genocide makes him happy.
What you call genocide and ethnic cleansing I call keeping order and stability. People here seem to instantly blow up things out of proportion, for example the settlers who shot the Palestinian, one of the first comments on the thread was "ethnic cleansing".
A man stabbing his wife over and over. :smug:
More holes :q:
Penis suckers.
Oh well that shit was like 9 years ago , i think the whole world has already stopped feeling sorry for America . At least i have .
What you call genocide and ethnic cleansing I call keeping order and stability.
you have a hard on for zionism and mass murder so of course you're going to downplay it and call it something else.
How is Zionism and mass murder related to each other and since when do I have a hard on for the former?
