I think, out of all of the choices, I preferred Men Who Stare at Goats. It's probably one of the best movies I've seen in the past couple of years. It was funny, witty, and all around good.
I fucking hated 2012. Probably the schmaltziest movie I've ever seen. Made me want to hurt people.
My favorite movie of all time is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
And, at the end of Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof", I decided to add all of the actors of that movie to the DEATH LIST. I wanted to kill everyone of them with a blunt object such as a 2x4.

I fucking hated 2012.
Why did you go see it?
I went to see it because I wanted to see shit get blown up in paramount ways. I feel like just seeing movies like that from time to time. The movie delivered what it promised.
These types of movies aren't meant for great dialogue and acting. If you went to see it, expecting that then you set yourself up for failure from the very beginning.
Also, don't tell me "all movies should have great writing", because that's easier said then done. Write a compelling script and then tell me all directors should do that. You gotta settle for blunt entertainment from time to time. No one forces you to see movies like that, but it's not like they try to disguise themselves.
With that said, I enjoyed 2012.
Funny People
The Hangover
Angels and Demons was good, I love movies involving conspiracies and the church/government. :v:
Inglorious Basterds was pretty awesome, I had never seen a entire theatre of people laughing at scenes of excessive violence.

1. Inglourious Basterds was pretty good.
2. I have to agree with Hoboiam, those movies give me violent thoughts.
3. Thats tough, Se7en or Fight Club. I really like David Fincher. Oh and Shawshank Redemption.
4. I hated Interview with the Vampire.
Well it didn't come out that recently, but I only saw it two days ago; No country for old men.
If you haven't seen it yet, go do it now.
Also, There will be blood was incredible, watched it last week.
Oh, and I recently saw (and loved immensely) mulholland drive.
Favorite movie of all time? I'm going to have to say kill bill (1+2) right now. However, #1 favorites serve little artistic importance and are more of a way to describe oneself, in my experience. Movies that deserve great praise all more or less reside on the same plane of excellence, picking one is rather silly.

Shows how the whole mortal-vampire relationship can be done correctly.
Oh, as for the rest.
Worst movie recently and probably that I've ever seen has to be transformers 2. I hate that movie with a searing passion.
Favorite? I dunno.
