Why in the world are they calling this weekly news? The Steam blog gets updates every 2 months
Well, this week we’ve made the Steam backend brains smarter about how they compute recommendations, by having them factor in things like which games you actually play (as opposed to just what you own, or what you’ve looked at).
Aaaah, that's good, explains why I was getting railworks dlc recommended
Damn you, William!
" Tell all your friends why they should really try Call of Duty: Black Ops." No, fuck you.
says the guy with a tf2 avatar
atleast im not running in circles all the time searching for random placed spawnpoints blindy
atleast im not running in circles all the time searching for random placed spawnpoints blindy
Go play GTA or something. I think this is a good idea on steam's parts. Personally I will recommend every single one of my friends every single Railworks DLC there is.
atleast im not running in circles all the time searching for random placed hats blindy
hoo, good luck with your free dlc too.
hoo, good luck with your free dlc too.
good luck with your hats that cost more than the game itself I'm not a fan of CoD either, but TF2 is just as bad.
It's in my... Friends Head!
good luck with your hats that cost more than the game itself I'm not a fan of CoD either, but TF2 is just as bad.
Contrary to popular belief, the game isn't about hats. You can still join any server and play a normal game. It's only about hats if you make it about hats.

All they care about is trading stupid fucking hats for stupid fucking paint or buying stupid overpriced keys for stupid crates that give you stupid shit. You morons will eat up anything Valve shits into your mouth.
:jerkbag:
Except he's right. Valve ruined TF2 with the hats, but not by introducing the hats themselves - by introducing the fanbase that goes along with them.
Yeah I have to agree with Zeke. I really like hats, because they provide some variety and humor into the game, but the community that came with them is total shit. It wasn't even bad before trading came out, but when it did it pretty much made the community total shit overnight. That being said I still absolutely adore TF2, but it could be better without the crazy hat tradings.
I play 3 or 4 rounds of tf2 a day. I've maybe left one in the last 2 weeks because nobody was playing and just sitting around trading and jerking each other off. Just make sure you don't join trading servers, it's not that hard.
I dislike hats because there's this impulse in me telling myself to get everything which I know is impossible. :(
I like the trading, but I think the item purchasing should all be done with ingame points, not real money. I don't want to be able to get any item in the game because I have money, it should be based upon my skill/playtime.
