Do you like video game music? Do you like metal? If you answered yes to both those questions, these guys are for you! Machinae Supremacy is a unique metal band from Sweden who integrate old school bleeps and bloops from the old Commodore 64's SID chip. So far, they have 6 albums out (3 of which they released for free! The songs are a little rough around the edges compared to their newer work, but still very good, and it's free! How can you say no to that?), plus they did the soundtrack to a game called Jets 'n' Guns, and that's also freely downloadable from their website. Their newest album, "A View from the End of the World" (abbreviated EOTW) is being released Nov 3rd, and at least to me, it sounds like it's going to be their best yet. I could type for hours about these guys, but that's boring, let's get to the music! First, here's one of the preview songs they released from EOTW: Next up, a neat song from their 3rd retail album "Overworld": Now, here's one from their second retail album "Redeemer": From their first album "Deus Ex Machinae" comes this song: Here's some good songs from their free web release albums: They also have some instrumentals for you vocal haters out there: Finally, a couple songs from the Jets 'n' Guns soundtrack: If you like what you hear, head over to their website http://machinaesupremacy.com/ for lots more!
Guys released new album
I love their album Redeemer. My brother introduced me to them and they're one of my favorite bands now.
Their newest album was a pleasant surprise! More squares and other cool synths than their earlier more metal releases. Still a great mix all around.
I fucking love MaSu, one of my favourite bands. SiD Metal ftw, love the vocals that go with it too. Wasn't aware of the new album either, giving it a listen right now and I already love it.
I loved the soundtrack of Jets 'n' Guns. I remember how it included many of their songs
