Honestly, you're better off wearing multiple layers of a light fabric (like linen) that fit rather loosely. Keeps the sun off your skin, lets your body breathe, and the layers of air between the layers of fabric stay cooler than outside. It's still a shit thing to do though to enforce it for 'muh culture'
