clowns at night are so fucking creepy.
Pretty cool of them to have turned themselves in when people were getting worried about it, but I don't see what harm they did. Do people really find clowns THAT creepy?

Well put it this way; when was the last time you saw a clown that wasn't relative to horror or similar such constructs?
I don't think I'd be that bothered by this; sure it's unsettling but it seems like they were just being silly.

If you see one just walking around at night, holding a red balloon and putting on a large grin, you'd shit yourself.
the worst thing about seeing a creepy clown at the middle of the night is that writing it off as some dude messing with you is always what the guys in creepypastas do before they get their face eaten. it's like self-justifying paranoia
Would you like to buy a balloon?
Probably unrelated to the Northampton Clown, though it is interesting (and mildly concerning) to see another clown-related thing in the Isles. Now we just gotta wait for some sort of Glasgow Clown and Hastings Jester and we'll have ourselves a conspiracy.
Also Tim Curry should get in on this act.
:o)
I'd be fucking terrified aswell considering this guy existed

Consider that some of us lack irrational fears; unless he was somehow armed or adopted a threatening posture, I'd rather be amused. Clowns are total bros.
Hiya Georgie!
I think i'm the only person that likes clowns, I actually feel sorry for them, they just do their best to try to make people laugh.
Plus, I dunno, part of me finds this kind of cool, It'd make walks home from a night out really interesting and fun considering they weren't doing anything to people.
they we're at my school today, he ran past the college and across our hockey pitches
crazy shite like

Carrick "Killer Clown" sounds like a blast
it's space station 13 all over again...

you wouldn't be able to catch a killer clown if he was worth his salt
Apply a toolbox directly to his forehead
God, it looks like his eyes have tapetum in that last picture.
What's with the recent influx of creepy-ass clowns lately? See the Northampton Clown.

I would imagine it's more his partner in crime with the balaclava that had people worried.
One day they shall rise from the fetid ballpits of this Earth that now overflows with wretched and alien life to reclaim what was once theirs - to make it desolate and dismal and beautiful once more. And all at once we shall die coldly in our beds, clutching for life, reaching out at the mirage of a dull ray of hope beyond hope, knowing that we can no longer afford ourselves the luxury of screaming.
On that day, the clowns shall rise.
it all draws nearer. inexorably, it all draws nearer

clowns are no longer related to cheerfulness and good things but are now solely associated with creepy shit.
There's a clown that's roaming around Northampton.

mate I would shit myself into orbit if I ran into that at 2 AM
Just greet them like any other person, shake their hand, ask how their day has been going and go on your way.
why do people find clowns to be so creepy?

terrorizing childhood memories
I haven't actually seen a clown in person, so due to movies, I can see myself being creeped out by them if they were just roaming around acting goofy at night...
