My story starts with me starting work at a call centre in my local area, having never done a job like this before I was eager and ready to learn the trade, and what with my inexperience being on a two week trial. Through these 2 weeks I tried my best to sell insurance to people who we were cold calling, but I was not as good as my peers so unfortunately my employment was terminated.
After this I then progressed into a job as a waiter, which was going pretty well for 3 weeks till I missed a burger on one table and got sacked by the owner himself. This job was somewhat unfortunate as I applied to be a barman there, as that is what I have experience in, yet when I arrived they said they needed me to be a waiter, so I went with it (This restaurant was silver service by the way).
Now that I am unemployed again, I am now applying for work again. I am being honest in my applications, yet I am getting rejection after rejection, and I believe it to be the last 2 jobs that I was subsequently fired in.
I know I am a good worker, I never steal like my co workers would do on a daily basis, would never speak badly of people, always happy to work. Would I be right to now just omit the last two jobs from any application I make?
Well yeah, however it would be bad if the person hiring you were to find out that you omitted two recent jobs you were fired from.
Also missing a burger and getting fired for it? What a douche.
Im sorry for you.
I hope you get a better job with no asshole co-workers.
blog-punch.
Damn man, you've had a unlucky run.
Sucks :/

Yeah, what a douche. Srsly, ONE burger?! After three weeks of decent service.
Well damn, this hasn't been a good year for you. Hope it gets better.

On topic, I applied for a job today. I only ever get fucking rejections though.
I would fire you to.
Lie about your achievements make $$
or fuck bitches, get paid, either works
If you're over 18, go get a job at a casino. My friend did that recently and he says it's awesome.
I got fired from my first job ever, I just gave up on it because the Manager was the biggest douche I've ever met in my life.
Finding work is really hard. I applied to nearly 100 jobs within the last week and still nothing. I've tried calling a bunch back but they're either telling me to wait or call back later.
it might be a better idea to tell them and explain what happened. you could get ratted out by someone, such as another employee who knew your previous job experience or one of your references.

ball-punch
[sp]you need to get one[/sp]
that sucks OP, I have a job and I sound like a really shitty employee compared to you :( shame workplaces often judge a man on his previous jobs rather than his actual skill and experience

Yep, I know what this is like. :sigh:
I'm lucky with mine a friend actually found it for me..
had a two hour interview and started the next week. :downs:
just keep looking there will be one out there.
People have lied before and got jobs as doctors apparently, without the required qualifications. So if they can do that I say you can lie your way into a job. Also, don't tell employers about your last 2 jobs if it can be helped.
Yeah, leaving out prior terminations is not lying, I think.

Maybe this is why you don't get employed. Douches need douches so they can get douch-rich...
It's sad, and I understand your pain, friend.
Damn, that's harsh man, being unemployed sucks.
Try to pester anyone you apply to fairly regularly, they see this as interest and you're more likely to get hired.
Worked for me at least.

Only if you're confident enough in your ability to lie that you can bullshit up a story to explain what you've been doing for the last 2 months
hey i have a job it's great...not
work sucks ass but it brings in the bacon and everyone loves bacon
go get a fun job like firework tester or drug dealer.
Be glad you actually get a response from them people, even if it is a rejection letter.
I get Jack shit.

When I was a kid I saw how toy factories worked and saw a couple of persons who sat there all day driving radio-commanded cars in a room.
I think I had my first boner there.
