I'll have the next part out tomorrow. And I can't annunciate for shit because I did 50 retakes and it is 4 AM. Haven't had sleep for 2 days.

You can do this m8, slow down and "clear up" your voice a bit. Reduce the effects, less is sometimes more. For doing this in such a short time, it's great! Of course it's not gonna hold up the same quality as something you would have done during four months, but don't let that slow you down. Just remember it til next time and be happy you managed to push this out. Go easy on yourself, get some rest, eat good food, drink some coffee, work hard and get this done. You'll pull this off.

I can maybe complete for anybody who mightve been interested in analysis of the Spanish-American war and how we led to treating the territories so badly. I got stretched razor thin because my friend, as much as I love him, is a lazy piece of shit and didnt want to work on the script until now (after months of pestering). Maybe I can use it for next year. It just really isnt up to my standards :/

Search for something you truly like, and do it. You don't want a life feeling miserable about not enjoying your work.

This carries all the signs of an incompetent person doing a shitty piece of work over the course of 3 months, or a competent person rushing it within 3-4 days(I know its the latter, but imagine how this comes off to the people who have to see it.)

I can't really offer any additional advice about the documentary itself that's different from what others have already said. I do have quite a bit of theater experience though, and just a word of advice. Slow down. Carefully annunciate each word, and leave a sufficient pause in between each sentence so that your audience has a moment to think about what you just said, rather than be bombarded with a constant flow of unending information.

Stop using the phrase "but rather than" so much.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'll try to fix it up in the next week or so. Don't think I'll submit it but I still want to make the video because it'll hopefully educate.

My "good luck" was sincere, but honestly what does he want critiqued? Is it the visual part or is the actual content also important? It's a minute long video where he only talks for half of it, and that part is basically just a kinda vague introduction. Essentially all I can say is "yeah you talk pretty fast and you get a little muddled at points" but he already acknowledged that in the OP, he can't rerender the video, so really there's nothing to do there either, and there's really no content to critique. He essentially already knows what's wrong with the video, it's that he didn't spend enough time working on it.

That film burn effect should've been gone by the time the Huffington Post screencap came up. Putting old effects like that on modern stuff is like vlogging with Super 8 film. Unless you live in 1967, you shouldn't be doing that shit at all.
