Not sure if this has been posted here yet, I checked a few pages, but if it has and I didn't see it, rate late mate. I thought it was a pretty good video, comparing the Wall Street protest to those leading up to the events in Egypt, as well as showing the dialogue given by leaders like Clinton and Obama regarding those protests.
If this keeps heating up, it's just going to take one shot from either side to erupt this into a war.
This is getting very interesting.
I hope this develops further. Problems need to be adressed.
I hope this develops further. Problems need to be adressed.
I hope it grows very, very big, and gets very threatening for the leaders. America needs a violent revolution.
I hope it grows very, very big, and gets very threatening for the leaders. America needs a violent revolution.
Violent? Not if it can be avoided. Revolution? I wholeheartedly agree. We could be on the brink of something huge.
Violent? Not if it can be avoided. Revolution? I wholeheartedly agree. We could be on the brink of something huge.
Violence acts as a catalyst. It draws more attention than just protesting peacefully because it shows the extent that people are willing to go to for their beliefs. I hope that the protesters get violent only because it doesn't seem as if Obama is stepping in/commenting much about it.
Violence isnt necessary yet, but if thats what it comes to... so be it.
Violence should never be an option. You wouldn't be any better than the police/security forces who were violent towards peaceful protesters that way, but then again it changed parts of the Middle East.
I don't think America is so far down the shitter violence is necessary, but things definitely need to change
The only way that violence will come into the revolution is if the shot is fired by the police. And then they wish that they hadn't.
Kennedy said "Those who make peaceful resolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable." you can only ridicule and ignore this for so long.
Can someone fill me in on what this whole "Occupy Wall Street" thing is about? What exactly are they hoping to achieve with this?
Violent? Not if it can be avoided. Revolution? I wholeheartedly agree. We could be on the brink of something huge.
Violent because it'll gain more attention and tell the people screwing everyone over "DO NOT FUCK WITH US", while a peaceful one... well, imagine seeing lots of this and nothing happening. I believe a few of the founding fathers have said that America needs conflict every so often, otherwise it'll fall. We will need a violent revolution, and the sooner, the better. If it comes at a much later date, theres only going to be far more bottled anger and carnage. Of course, the 'war' we are in doesn't count as conflict IMHO, it shouldn't even be called a war. It's more of a fight for more oil and power really. Hell, they probably said Civil war from what I understand to be honest, so the 'war' we are in literally DOESN'T count period. However, if the common man peacefully and passionately completely took control of everything, and redid everything, we'd be far better off. But this is much less likely to happen. thank you very much, adding to the list!!!
This isn't a fucking revolution, it's a bunch of fucks who think they're entitled to things when they aren't.
This isn't a fucking revolution, it's a bunch of fucks who think they're entitled to things when they aren't.
And you know this from fox news? I thought they want the people responsible for the crisis prosecuted and they want money out of politics. I guess it's something we're not entitled to have.
This isn't a fucking revolution, it's a bunch of fucks who think they're entitled to things when they aren't.
so we aren't entitled to our rights?

After some thought it all makes some moderate amount of sense of why everyone is beginning to protest. We're taking the flak for the Wall Street economy fuck up. Unless I'm mistaken then someone please correct me.
so we aren't entitled to our rights?
Explain to me how our rights play a role in this movement. Please. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] We have a right to protest, but aside from that what the fuck else do they have to do with anything involving this? Fuck I mean, rights are completely irrelevant to any of this. Are you just saying shit to sound creditable?
so we aren't entitled to our rights?
what rights?
And you know this from fox news? I thought they want the people responsible for the crisis prosecuted and they want money out of politics. I guess it's something we're not entitled to have.
Money out of politics? Oh my god that's hilarious. Do you have ANY clue, at all, how a campaign works? How much money it requires to run one? Yeah it's shitty, but 'money out of politics' is fucking asinine. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] Holy fuck, I never get mad on the internet but I mean the blatant ignorance of the people who back this thing just leaves me awestruck.
Explain to me how our rights play a role in this movement. Please.
Seeing how you'll probably edit this as it's a stupid quote. Protest. A single word and I'm done here.

Go and do some research before you start criticizing something you don't understand properly. Amazing video anyway. I'm sending this around.

Why not just ditch the whole voting bullshit and let the 1% rule.

[editline]19th October 2011[/editline] Everyone wants to feel like a bleeding-heart martyr. I stand behind the core values of what this movement is about, but not the mindset of the people who back it. I'm going to go to work now so they can take away a portion of the money I earned to pay for everyone's healthcare. But that's how it should be, right? People who earn money are evil and need to give it back to people who don't.
I will not stand for this. I will sit, and occupy this computer chair instead.
