Richard's a pretty amazing musician. He loves to fuck with his fans but only in the sense that he loves to keep them guessing rather than baring all (see The Tuss). I just wish he'd finally put out a new album under Aphex. It's been too many years since Drukqs.
Kind of reminds me of Panoramic
The OP is alright but I would like to take some time to tell you all how gay shit like: this some faggot ass hipster shit with a gay 'totally vintage awesome' album art of a solid color and google image resized. featuring amazing album titles that are intellectually crafted with ancient asian symbols and edgy numbers like 420 wow I'm listening to vintage sampled music while I'm totally blazed im so cooler than everyone that doesnt know bout this it's literally this song slowed down not even 700% it's just a retarded song with a retarded low pitch Diana Ross moaning over her verse loop. fucking faggots what are you doing considering this shit music in 2013 you retards. OP is good though, don't get me wrong. [editline]wat[/editline] wow really you waited the entirety of your life for pitched down 1984 diana ross tracks? wow (User was banned for this post ("Derailing/trolling - you need to calm down" - verynicelady))
-Unnecessary rant that has nothing to do with the op-
calm down kid holy shit someone has some issues
anger
You know that the girl who made that album did it as a joke?
I don't get the op to be honest. Rhubarb is already a slow moving ambient track. I guess its slower now? That's the only difference to me is that it's just slower. I guess that's the point.
what are you doing considering this shit music in 2013 you retards.
its 2013 and people still call music they don't like "not music" lmao

I think this is a better slowed down track though:
I like how you say it turns it into a really beautiful ambient soundtrack (what?). The song was already beautiful enough before it was slowed down excessively.
This is my favorite ambient track by Richard
This is my favorite ambient track by Richard
This song always comes off as eerie and depressing to me because of Afraid of Monsters.
my favorite Aphex Twin track overall. [editline]21st November 2013[/editline]
This song always comes off as eerie and depressing to me because of Afraid of Monsters.
oh god fuck the hospital as soon as the lights went off I wanted to go back to this fuck you guys for making me look this up help.
This is my favorite ambient track by Richard
It's a shame he doesn't like most of his earlier works anymore. One of my all-time favourites of his. Just love how primal it is.
This song always comes off as eerie and depressing to me because of Afraid of Monsters.
Alot of Aphex Twin songs sound like they would fit perfect for a horror game, Smart of ruMpel to use them

No-one ever posts Polynomial-C in these threads, why is it always so overlooked? And if this isn't one of the most amazing pieces of artwork I've ever seen I don't know what is man. God I want one so bad.
Ok don't forget...
SAW 85-92 is my chillout album. Always have it playing when I'm drawing. [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline] two more favourites
One more... so good.
One more... so good.
My favourite from SAW 85-92. So hauntingly beautiful.
Richard's really awesome at making both slow, beutiful and hanting tracks, and just as quickly alternating to fast, hear-stopping and insane tracks as well. (skip to 4:15) Windowlicker is still one of my favorurite tracks from him, it sounds like an audio track from a porno put through microwaves. The music video is really enjoyable too. I also really like "Come to Daddy", even if he doesn't really. To be fair, it's not really a very "Aphex Twin" song.
One of my favourites.
One more... so good.
That track gives me a bunch of nostalgia since Selected Ambient Works was one of the first few albums I physically bought.
