Oh jeez
That woman screaming as they dragged her away...
Why would anyone deem this necessary? They were just protesting, god.
The way he described it made it sound biased as fuck.
The way he described it made it sound biased as fuck.
he goes on to explain that most officers do their job properly; but there's no questions that things were done improperly and immorally.
every cop involved in police brutality should immediately lose their job and face jail time.

What else could you say about it? Those officers showed up, threw a man on the ground and dragged a woman, literally kicking and screaming, into their own mob, before spraying a woman with pepper spray for no reason.
That's just... why?
"That the american police, have gotten away, with another crime against the american people they are sworn to protect."
Wow. Really.

Dude, look at this shit. I'll admit he sounds pretty angry and biased, but this is video evidence of the police assaulting people for no reason.
Edit:
I think I'm fairly justified in saying FUCK THE PO-LICE.
Or... at least the violent ones. Or just violent people in general.

Exactly, there's no excuse for it at all. I plan on attending occupy Indianapolis, but I'm a bit scared. That's why they do things like this, to try and scare people, intimidate.

I know, I saw it all. I'm just curious as to what the protestors were saying. Speech is also key.

Not completely, you can swear, curse at, flip off or an insult an officer as much as you want legally, until they "politely" ask you to stop.

My best guess is high-level commanders probably attended protest and crowd control management workshops and training programs shortly after the London riots, and were told the best way to stop protests is to pick some random person out of a large group of people, drag them out into the open, and arrest them in the most dramatic and violent way possible, to send a warning to others.
All I can really think of.

Well they certainly weren't being violent. And I believe this is Anonymous protesting at Wall-Street, and when Anon's serious about something they tend to be pretty on-the-ball.

That makes sense, kind of. But A) an arrest isn't necessary when you can just ask people to disperse, and B) they still used pepper-spray and threw people about like they were ragdolls.
So I still have no idea why this happened.

Might have explained why I saw a quite bit of students.

I'm actually interested in what was being protested about, and how it was being done.

Thank you very much, I updated the OP.
There were some bits in there that were new to me. While the man sounds mad as fuck, he has every right to be. This is just all kinds of stupid, and he's right. They're going to get away with it. It just upsets me knowing that, even though we know what happened, seeing it and all that, nothing will really happen to the officers. Nothing will change.. Life will go on and we'll continue to live our blissfully ignorant lives. Until someone yells loud enough to get everyone worked up.

Even if an officer tells you to stop talking you don't have to as long as you aren't threatening him in any way. You can call his mother a whore over and over if you want, and there isn't legally anything he can do about it.

Best thing anyone can do is inject themselves right into the middle of it, and then when you are victimized by the police fight them with every legal recourse available to you. Go to every media outlet with it, post on every internet forum that you're a member of, just get your name and story out there and keep it out there.

It's a valiant effort, but change doesn't happen because someone tweets it to a bunch of his friends. Change doesn't happen because a bunch of people decided to sit in the city hall to stop a gov'ner from taking teachers' bargaining rights away. Change doesn't happen because you throw picket signs in the air and shout at the top of your lungs.
I don't know what would really cause a change. Perhaps you're right, perhaps one should keep the message alive and have it spread country-wide, if not world-wide. Show that people have done nothing wrong and yet are oppressed for merely exercising their rights. But, as Mr. Jensen so aptly put it: "If you want to make enemies, try to change something". I really hope something comes out of this. I'm tired of turning on the news to see more of this with no retribution.
I'm just tired of it.
I would also like to point out that this is the NYPD we're talking about here. The same police force that says it can shoot down jet liners with 50-calibre sniper rifles. The same police force that sends SWAT teams and paramilitary squadrons out to respond to a 911 call of "white kids with cameras" entering abandoned subway tunnels in the East Harlem ghettos at 2AM. The same police force that wasted close to a billion dollars on a self-serve computerized corruption machine under the guise of a "computerized payroll system."
The NYPD does not and should not be used to judge the morality and integrity of the many brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect and serve across the United States.

Change doesn't happen if you give up either.
Change doesn't happen if you give up either.
No, it doesn't. You're right. I just don't know what I or anyone else could do aside from using our words.
Change will happen when people start to wake up and realize whats going on around them. These protests do just that. I know they did to me, I saw them and looked into what they were protesting. It pissed me off and now I'm trying to become involved.

I'm no legal expert, but I think it might begin to enter the realm of disorderly conduct.
If the protests continue I fear that stability will take a big hit.

Damnit that's going to increase national revolt risk and lower our tax modifier!
