Hi facepunch. Im not really new here, ive been reading the posts for a few months now, but never got the idea to post anything-until now. Ive got one hell of a story for you. When I was 13, my father decided to buy a dog since i was the only child in my family, and was going through a depression stage. His name was Sprite, and he was a black yorkie. He was my freaking pride and joy. Every night, hed sleep in bed with me, and hed lick my face to wake me up at sunrise. About 3 days ago, I went on a trip to Hershey Park for day, and left Sprite in my parents care. So, that night, my dad had the bright idea to sleep with him in bed. You see, my dad has tendencies to toss and turn alot at night, so i guess when he turned one time, he squished the dog and suffocated him or broke every bone in his body and he died. So I heard the news when I got back on Thursday, and I freaking broke down. However, my dad surprised me the same day with a new dog that looked just like him, so I wasnt completely in grief. Actually, i woke up yesterday thinking how funny the whole scenario actually is from another point of view. So, i named my new dog Rebound. So, this is where you come in, Facepunch. How do you find my weird scenario? Also, do you think its my fault that my dad killed Sprite?
:sigh:
I read Yorkie thinking the chocolate bar, but you meant a Yorkshire Terrier. Christ those things are small.
Uh :wtc:
And how exactly is someone so much into a deep sleep that they crush a dog? I call shenanigans. He suffocated your dog on purpose to SEE YOU CRY. But seriously, this is sad. :sigh:
your dad is a total badass
Aww, shit.

Also, i put a poll, seeing how much people like those.
Is there a reason why so many people that just join end up posting a sad or weird story?
Yorkie bars don't have bones. It's pure chocolate you doughnut.
Your dad just said it's an accident. He really killed it because a yorkie is for sissies.
And how exactly is someone so much into a deep sleep that they crush a dog?
Same way a person can sleep deep enough that a thunderstorm doesn't wake them up.

Seriously, it's impossibly hard to deal with killing an animal that belonged to a loved one.
you'd be surprised, m8
Trust this man he has done it many times.
Same thing p. much happened after my Chihuahua gave birth to her puppies. Except the mother has a tendency to take the puppies to the most unsafe places imaginable in the house. All 6 of them didn't survive their first night. :smith:
I guess your new dog... is a duplicate sprite. YEEAAHHHHHHH
I guess your new dog... is a duplicate sprite. YEEAAHHHHHHH
I lol'd at this. Also, thanks for the condolences, everyone. So back to the topic: What comes to mind about the scenario?
At first I thought it was the other way around and I felt bad for you. But I don't really feel too bad that it was your dog that died and not your dad. I'm sorry to hear that your dog died, at least he made it up to you.
D:
This happens more than you think, I remember not to long ago someone had their newborn baby in the bed and they ended up suffocating him.

maybe your dad had a crush on your dog
This happens more than you think, I remember not to long ago someone had their newborn baby in the bed and they ended up suffocating him.
What im wondering about is what Sprite looked like after my dad the fatass squished him.
Pets come and go, you were just unfortunate enough to have one that went a little sooner. It was inevitable anyway, so I'm glad you're able to get over it so easily. [editline]08:58PM[/editline] Oh yeah, how much does your dad weigh?
Please teach me how a dog would suffocate a human
Maybe his dog is like a cat. I've got a cat that likes to try to sleep on peoples faces. He also likes to sleep in sinks to. :3:
What im wondering about is what Sprite looked like after my dad the fatass squished him.
That's nice of you to think of.
I feel bad for your dad. If I was him, I would feel absolutely horrible.
Oh yeah, how much does your dad weigh?
325 if i remember right. Im 17 and im 145, so idt id be able to crush him.
