There was also a time when like thousands of posts were deleted. So that set people back quite a bit.

I lost over 2k posts. I know that feeling too be banned for over a year as well.

No, the posts were deleted. As in they were removed, no longer exist. Need I explain it more ? I was less than 100 from 2,000 about a year and a half ago. Took me down to like 800 or so after. Didn't get gold until they allowed the 1k or 1.5k post for gold + 5 years or whatever it was.
edit: Also this song is great.
