As much as a shitty and unscientific show Brainiac was, it was entertaining.
Here's one for you : Why isn't this show on with the exact people from the first series?
1. 546.3 kelvin 2. I don't even understand the question. A comedian is in a room of mirrors, what color will 'it' turn? 3. Depends where you are in space... if you're near a magnetic field it will follow the magnetic field lines... if you're somewhere where there is negligible electromagnetic force, it would just point where ever it wants to. 4. This is a stupid question, but if I were bald I would still use shampoo, just less of it, because it is just a lower strength soap basically. I wouldn't want to irritate my sensitive scalp. 5. The light will continue to move ahead of you at what seems to be the speed of light. 6. I don't understand his accent on this one either. Did he ask why shampoo can be colored but lava is white? What? 7. No, because of mutation and recombination and all kinds of other things that happen in germ cells. 8. I don't know for sure, but probably black with white stripes. I figure this because darker things tend to survive better in Africa, and because most horses are darker colored and both zebras and horses are equines.
That magnet one is just basic science, if you don't understand that you shouldn't be watching ANY show related to science.
2. Chameleon, buddy
i thought he said comedian too [editline]20th May 2012[/editline] anyways chameleons change colour primarily as a social function so it'd probably just get confused and angered by the mirrors and change to whatever colour signifies that
2. Chameleon, buddy 6. Lather its like you've never heard an accent before in your life
I though he said comedian on the second one as well.
A chameleon changes color with stress not with its environment
How does Mini-camel harvest his 45 banana's if he can only carry 15 at a time to the marketplace to sell them.
A chameleon changes color with stress not with its environment
Nope, it does both. For example a chameleon might turn a lighter shade if it's really hot out(to reflect light), or if it's around plants it might change to a brown or green color. If it's courting it will change to a lighter color as well. Chameleons change color for a variety of reasons, saying that it's for camouflage, or heat purposes, or social purposes only is not the full truth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chameleon#Change_of_color [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] Also, there are different types of chameleons. They have different social habits, different environments, and different predator threats that their coloration needs to account for. [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] And some chameleons can't change color period.
I don't think having identical twins (or any twins at all for that matter) is an inheritable trait, it's just when an egg divides and creates two separate embryos, yeah? Maybe it is inheritable for a woman to consistently produce multiple eggs during ovulation or something, but that would only account for the female side.

The point was if an identical 2 identical twin brothers had each had a child with 2 identical twin sisters, both sets of offspring should be identical to each other. It's wrong, since random mutations occur(among other things), but it's an interesting thought nonetheless.
here's one for you
now i'm just thirsty
none of those made me go hmm
Season 4 got pretty shit though. It was less about experiments and more about blowing as many things up as they could.
