Here in Kansas we have a shit ton of "Haunted Fields". A lot of farmers rent out the corners of their land, and they'll make a maze and set up small buildings and other things like that. I work in a print shop and I've been running thousands of fliers for dozens of these places, so they must be doing something right.

Not that hard to believe. Fun, escapist activities like that often do experience an uptick during slow economic times, I guess it's because people want to be able to forget about all the crap going on around them for a little while.
