I've only ever seen the first one which I kinda like the idea of it, but the cultish way some of the bad guys talk before going for the kill is odd, the fact that it takes place in 2020ish which is far to early for something like this to be passed maybe 2030ish I would have bought the date. And the fact that Fires wont be put out for 12 hours so how will the government make sure the city doesn't burn down?.

I think the best route would be for the senator to die at the church which they spoiled in the trailer, then have someone stream it secretly live which sets off people to kill via mob all the church which were ultra rich and politicians, even after sunrise. The power void is quickly felt and while it's close to pass a bill to revoke the purge, the president calls for marshal law and is going raise militias to enforce the peace with licences to kill.

I like the concept of the purge movies, but I really want the producers to realize that there are more crimes than just murder and robbery.
I've only watched the first one, so I don't know if they show other crimes in the newer ones.

I had an idea for a Purge movie once. The first fifteen to twenty minutes of the movie would follow some edgelord high schoolers prepping themselves for the Purge. This is the footage trailers would show. Then, when they finally get outside to participate in the Purge, they're instantly killed by some other guys. The camera then switches to an overhead shot, and pans a few blocks away, and introduces some nerds who are trying to illegally download a movie or some shit. Dunno how I'd be able to drag that out for an hour though.
I honestly enjoyed the other two Purge movies so hopefully this is somewhat decent
