Teachers often seem to delight in the errors made by some students. Which is why sometimes it's particularly enjoyable to see a learned teacher come a cropper.
A head-teacher has been forced to make a grovelling apology after a teacher sent a school report to a pupil littered with FOURTEEN grammatical errors*.
The short report sent by the schoolgirl's form tutor at Gleed Girls’ Technology College, Spalding, was strewn with misspellings, incorrect apostrophe use and even had letters missing.
Shockingly, the first error can be instantly found in the subject line of the e-mail, titled: ' form tutor report for parents everning'.
But even more shockingly… we don't think it was a PE teacher who sent the error-laden email.
The teacher also misspells 'attendance' TWICE, opting instead for 'attandence' and 'attenance' while other errors include 'requriements', 'occaisions' and 'boardering'.
The mother of the student, neither of whom wished to be named, said she was appalled by the e-mail sent by her daughter’s form tutor.
She said: “What concerns me most is that this teacher is supposed to be responsible for raising my daughter’s educational standards.
"If her standards are that low, how can she expect my daughter’s to be high?"

Liz Shawhulme, head of the school, said there was “no excuse” for errors, and that she will be contacting the girl’s mother to apologise for the standard of the report.
She said: "As a responsible school, we do encourage staff to contact parents either by phone, letter or e-mail. I am, however, shocked by the number of mistakes, many of which appear to be ‘typos’, in this communication."
Damn it, where's the bad spelling rating when you need it?
Hoyl sit thats alot of tipos. Their not even consistint.
Drunk emailing, happens to everyone.
How can 11 "authorized" and only 1 "unauthorized" absence be poor?
This made me rage for some unexplainable reason.

Well our school can only have like 12, even excused, absences per year or something. And I think the call or send a letter or something for even one unexcused, so I guess their school is similar.

That's ridiculous, what if you're in the hospital for a month
someone in my class misses a couple days per week because they work night shifts to support their family and the school doesn't care as long as their marks are fine

Well that's different. but just sick days, yeah. I think you might need a doctors note or something for an extended period of time.

You should really check in with a doctor if you're not properly digesting noodles. Might be having a problem processing wheat.
I once had a health/PE teacher who couldn't spell "health".
The whole XXXXXs' thing might not be actually incorrect if the persons name ENDS in s. Although it probably doesn't, or they would have put XXXXX' (because the last X would be an s).
You never know, though. Could have just used five Xs for the hell of it.

Should do a better job of looking after yourself and not be ill all the time. Either that or suck it up and go to school.
I can understand if someone has a serious illness or something highly contagious like tonsillitis, but so many people take a shit load of time off school because they have colds or whatever. Or they take time off school because they have headaches or something, which is probably their fault anyway for not getting enough sleep.
Reminds me of my history teacher.
Why do the letters look so fucking jumbled and awkwardly up and down.
