Mmm, yes, F1, and I must say I'm liking 2012 so far. 5 races, 5 different winners, two first time winners. No one dominant car either, and there isn't even a clear "Midpack/Leaders" divide.
Here's hoping the trend continues. I'd love to see Kimi or Schumy win at Monaco two weeks from now.
Finally, An F1 thread. Almost every car is the same, Making it more fun to watch and see who wins.
Which suprises me that Maldonado won the last race. Kimi drove pretty consistant also. Don't like the DRS too much though, Makes it too easy to pass.
I missed out on Spain D:
I can't see any news on this on facepunch anywhere, so i'll put it here.

Aww that sucks, I love Williams.
They suck, but I love them.
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
Except for Maldonado, he might be a big thing.
Shame Senna is shit.
Good race, got really exiting near the end!
Shame about the strategy for Kimi. Although Grojean is really showing incredible pace!
Amazing season so far, 7 races 7 winners.
They're building the North America Formula 1 track 20 minutes from me, out side of Austin.
Can anyone say:
TROLOLOLOLO ALONSO! Tried to troll the other teams with his pits and team radio, and in the end trolled himself into oblivion (well fine... 5th).
That last 5 laps was spectacular.

If we are being honest, the races in which he has crashed have been a huge combination of bad luck and Maldonado bullying him off. But then again i am supporting lotus/Renault so i guess im a tad biased.
Yes! F1! I was at my first race in Singapore last year, and it beats every other sport event i've ever been to.
Shame about Robert Kubica though, still, Lotus Renault all the way baby!

Should come to Europe and see the 24 hour races, those are amazing as hell and in my opinion even better than F1.

I live in Europe, but since i've been watching F1 since 96 the Singapore evening race was quite amazing.
I assume you're talking about Le Mans?

Oh, assumed you live in Singapore, but okay.
Yes, the 24 hours of Le Mans race but also the 24 hours Nürburgring race , but even the 6 hour race of Spa is great.
The last race was great towards the ends, I was really expecting Lewis to not be able to catch up but every single lap he was getting faster and faster.
I loved the last 10 laps of that race. Just seeing lewis overtake Alonso and Vettel was amazing!
This thread deserves a bump before the race this weekend I think. So here, have a picture of a Formula 1 car:

Hah, fixed it!
Why is this thread dead?
The British Grand Prix is always great, even after they ruined Silverstone with the new track layout a couple years ago, here's some pictures from Saturdays qualifying:

Grosjean messed up Q3 and buried his car into the gravel trap in the final few turns and thus was knocked out of Q3

Should be a good race, would be nice to see someone British win the British GP but somehow I doubt that with Buttons shoddy form and Hamiltons qualifying position
Really old, but i though this would fit in this Formula theme.

I'm being pretty ignorant but how do you watch a race for 24 hours or even for 6?
I used to watch this with my father and anxiously wait for it to finish so I could watch my cartoons.
The day they removed refueling from the pit stop was the best thing to ever happen for my childhood
Qualy highlights are on BBC 2 right now for anyone in the UK
Hockenheim this weekend, easily one of the best tracks on the calendar. Raikkonen set a screamer in Q1, 1:15.6
I really want to se Räikkönen do well tomorrow.
I've been gunning for Raikkonen since his "I was having a shit" comment years ago, he's been doing damn well for his returning season so far. Just needs a decent podium or a pole now.
Hockenheim Qualifying results:

not a fan of alonso performing so well, I don't really like him. sure he's a great driver but he hasn't got the personality of a great driver
I could not agree more on what you just wrote.

Absolutely fantastic race in my opinion, slightly controversial towards the end and personally I think [sp]Vettel[/sp] should get a [sp]timed penalty[/sp] of some sort.
Watching the race right now.
